Beautiful restaurant in the center of Munich. Quite full when we arrived but we were only there for drinks so we sat at the bar. They have lots of selection from Ayinger, including the Kellerbier vom fass which was really nice. Bar staff was very professional and nice. Looked like a really fancy place, wouldn’t mind coming here with non beer-geeks. Will revisit if in Munich.

Visited the restaurant on a sunday afternoon. The ambiance was very rustic & equally traditional with lots of wood work. The service was very friendly & spot on in terms of providing recommendations. They had almost all their beers and a wide selection on tap. The food was yummy & served in huge portions. The roasted pork with the dunkel sause & dumplings were heavenly. A good value for moeny restaurant & beer pub given the fact that its in he city center.

Very attractive restaurant located on a busy walking street in the city center. The inside is much nicer than the typical brauhaus with lots of polished wood. Also some tables outside which are great for people watching. 8 Ayinger beers on tap but unfortunately no Celebrator during my visit. Beers were fresh and in great condition. Prices were on par for the area. Service was friendly but a bit slow. Good spot to knock back a couple liters.

Located in a great part of the city and service was fantastic. Not a wide selection, but what they have is solid. Prices were not bad for Munich.

I had a mixed experience as surprisingly it was crazy busy here for an early weeknight and it was difficult even getting a beer sitting at the bar. The bartender was running ragged and getting swamped by drink tickets. The Hell I did have was very nice. I need to get back at a reasonable time and sit down for a meal and beers. Next time.

Sat at the bar and the service was good. Tried a few beers. The place wasn’t that crowded for being past 8, but it really wasn’t tourist season. Much better to visit when the weather is nice.

A nice bar, and with good food on previous visits. Ayinger beer is very good and this is fine place to drink it as it has most of the varieties available, and a nice atmosphere.

Nice place as you find similar in munich all around, with wood panels on the wall etc. Service was swift, professional and friendly BUT an non acceptable way of pouring their beers, a total NO GO! Therefore negative effects on the overall score.
Beer selection is good and their food, too. The value was okish - Munich is in general expensive. And overall, as given above...

One of the cosiest beer places in Munich! Much more a restaurant than the other beer houses in Munich, but still very traditional and laid-back. Fortunately also quieter than others, because this isn’t a real tourist hotspot as the famous (and extremely loud and crowded) Hofbräuhaus is right across the street and the Hard Rock Cafe is also nearby. The staff propably is the friendliest I have experienced at my many visits in Munich! If you get a seat at the window (which I did one time) you have a great sight over one of the most beautiful squares in Munich while you can enjoy the really excellent food. As far as I could see, they almost have all Ayinger beers on tap including seasonals - Celebrator from tap, outstanding! A must visit in Munich, almost perfect!
