Not sure this place makes much sense on here, but its here, so... They had good food, went for breakfast/brunch. Not much of a beer destination, but a few craft options were available.

Babycakes started off a few years back as a bakery that also served light lunches. They quickly outgrew their size and expanded into the neighboring building and reopening with dinner service as well. Menu items and specials change to reflect seasonal items and local products and there are usually a few bottled craft beers that make brief appearances, probably a couple cases at a time, and a small selection of other craft brews, as well as a couple standard macro swills. Menu usually includes interesting appetizers such as an edamame falafel, scallop ceviche, eggplant chips, and their own twist on poutine with jalapeno cheddar. A great offering of sandwiches using the bread that shows off their bakery, such as a housemade mozzarella and pesto melt, croque monsieur, and a few others. A healthy selection of entrees is available, though a little reliant on things like seared salmon, and the ubiquitous boneless skinless chicken breast f or my liking.
