Fantasic off licence. As well as a great range of wines and whiskeys up front, itís all the beer at the back thatís impressive. Usually 4 draught beers on tap, a draught cider, and an amazing range of bottles from all over, including Mikkeller, Brew Dog, Nogne, Amager, de Molen, Stone, Dogfishhead ... And loads of English bottled beer too. Hugely knowledgeable and helpful staff. And just round the corner from the Live and Let Live.

Excellent beer shop, tucked away a little bit out of town but well worth the walk. The guy in there spent a long time with me explaining about certain beers and helping me make a more informed decision than would otherwise have been possible with my limited knowledge. Got some great beers, visit regularly now to check on the ever changing stock. Just great.

Great little place. Little hole in the wall shop, but that made it neat. The have a fantastic selection, especially for its size. The staff was awesome and very helpful. Had really reasonable prices on the Italian and American beers.

One of the best off licences Iíve ever been in. How I wish we had one of these in North London. Knowledgable staff, wide range of stock, and draught ales.

A well balanced, extensive range of bottled beers focusing on well made beer. Concentrating on Belgian/Dutch, German & British the shelves are reassuringly short on well marketed bland beers. The jewel in the crown is cask ales & cider to take away at very good prices.

Went in here on the tuesday before the trade session at peterborough beer fest 09. Nice wee shop in fairly central cambridge, in you go and find loads of wine but theres a fridge that has beers in it including crouch vale amarillo and brewers gold(good show). Up the back for the beer selection and i was massivly impressed. An entire skandinavian rack full of mikkeller and amager goodies such as beer geek weasel(the first tiem iv seen it for sale in britian), all at what i would regard as reasonable prices for these kind of rarities. Next to it is the belgian and amoung the usual trappist wins, i find Hommage at only £9.99, it cost me more than that in belgium! Also 3F Vintage 2005 which is my favourate of the vintages iv tried so far at an amazing £3:95. Didint try the cask ales as i was about to hit them at the beer fest but they had 6 on stillage in cooling jackets. English selection was also a winner with king henry reserve and traquair 700 on offer. Alround easily one of the best bottle shops in Britian. Excellent!

There was only one guy working there when I went in, which was fine as it was empty. Bloody good bloke. Left me to it until I started conversation and then was happy to talk beer. Gave me his honest opinion and didnít say everything was brilliant. Steered me away from a few. Good beer selection, some my novice ass had never seen before. Good cask selction too. Would definitely visit again and if youíre in the area I would certainly pop in.

Have visited here frequently including twice in the last 3-4 months. I love this place, it has a cracking selection of beers and usually some great stuff from the likes of Struisse, Mikkeller and Nogne amongst others. There is also a very decent German beer selection and to the right hand side when you enter the beer part of the shop this area is dedicated to UK beers with Durham, Dark Star and others usually well represented. I think the only negative is that in my opinion it is a tad pricey, I accept that many of these beers are likely to have cost quite a bit of effort to get them to the UK, and I appluad this little treasure trove of a shop for geting them to a UK market, but I mention this because Iíd noticed that the price has increased noticably since my last visit which was only in June. Also bit sad that what looks like a decent Perry and Cider selection look a little forgotten sat on the floor well below the Mikkellers, Amagers and Struisses of this world. Still I understand that this is likely to be owing to size limitations. Btw staff are also very friendly and helpful, two of which reside on this site I understand.

This place has the best selection of any shop iíve been in in the UK. Itís a bit of a drive for me, but always worth the trip. The staff is very knowledgeable about everything on the shelves, and are always happy to help. I donít know how he does it, but it seems like the guy has drank everything in the shop and has a photographic memory of each individual experience. A good variety of all things Belgian, German and British, and I was happy to see some American stuff to! I was even suprised by seeing them armed with Tactical Nuclear Penguins on my last trip! An excellent little shop, I never walk away unsatisfied.
