Visited during the Oktoberfest, both for dinner - traditional Bavarian food and for brunch. Food was good however, service seems very busy and stressed. Interior is a funny mixture of a traditional inn and a restaurant. Tap selection is not impressive, only a few Hofbräu. Go for food and ambience, not beer.

Beer hall w nondescript woodwork, lazy service and normal HB on tap. Worth skipping.

More than 30 minutes walk from Marienplatz on famous and very crowded Leopoldstrasse. Few expensive HB beers, often is very hard to find free table. Not worth of visiting.

Good food right on the main street w/ the tables cool parade of people headed by all night celebrating a soccer game. mostly haufbrau beer
