Amazing beer on tap! Never anything crappy on tap, all unique specialty brews that are hard to find anywhere else.
Food is can be hit or miss. Most of the time it has been great but every once in awhile itís so-so. Mostly pretty good though.
Service is decent. Iíve never had bad service but itís never been great either. Wish the waitresses would know a bit more.
The building itself is laid out badly for a taphouse. There are lots of rooms, itís set up more like a ífine diningí restaurant than a taphouse. A few walls need to be knocked down and the bar extended. The place should be more open and centered around the bar rather than a maze of rooms that no one wants to be in.
Overall, outstanding beers. Good food. Decent service. Work a visit, definitely a destination point.

Last stop of night one in Boulder. Large bar area in front and plenty of restaurant space in the rear. They were having some special events, so hard to judge the taplist, but if the kind of beers yet had for the events were any indication, Iíd say a solid taplist. Food is typical pizza joint fare. Ordered a calzone which was quite good. Service was pretty good as well. Definitely a place to hit when in Boulder.

Visited October 7, 2013 with 3fourths and womencantsail.
This is a very large set up. Multiple dinning rooms and a bar area. We were given a table in one of the dining rooms, right in front of the big TV during Monday night football so some annoying Jets fan was yelling every time the waitress walked by our table. They had just done a sour beer event the day before so they still had a lot of interesting sour beers on tap. They donít do flights or samples but you can ask for a couple of tastes to help decide what you want. The service was friendly though we didnít ask too many questions about the beer so I canít comment on their knowledge. The calzone I ordered was good though I probably could have put more effort into the choosing the ingredients.

Large restaurant with a large bar. Good tap list and extensive bottle list, though I have always found the prices to be fairly steep, should probably have sought HH. Service was fine, food was pretty good, fairly expensive.

Visited with two friends on October 8, 2012. I didnít eat, but my two friends did and they enjoyed it. Service at the bar was great, service to the table was not good. Big selection of draught beers, nice place, I could go back for sure.

Based strictly on the beer selection, this may be my all time favourite bar. 52 taps, the majority from Colorado. Half the taps were rotating and the selection changed a good bit from one week to the next during my two visits. The 182 bottle selection is great, which include numerous sour, lambic and wild ales from the US, as well as Belgium and other countries. As a Norwegian it was nice to see a Nogne Saison on tap for $8, half the price of at home. Unfortunately, several factors are pulling down the overall impression of rhe bar. If you take a right after walking in thru the main door, you have a game room, followed by a dining room full of pizza eating kids with their parents. This room can be avoided, but it still does not belong in a quality beer bar. The food was average.

I like the comment below that this place is like Beer Geek Nirvana. Apt.
This place has about the same selection as Falling Rock, with probably fewer taps but what seems like more bottled selections. i love the way they have beers organized on the menu, as it makes it easy to find what you like or to try something new.
What differs about BCP compared to many other beer joints Iíve been in is the service. Of the three times Iíve been there, Iíve always had top shelf service. Impressively, the waiters and waitresses all seem to know something about almost every beer on the menu. Try getting that at a Flying Saucer!
They rotate the taps pretty regularly to keep the selection fresh. Food is pretty good - not as good as Hops & Pie, but with a much larger selection to please all palates.

This place is like beer geek nirvana. They had 50 taps of craft beer and most of them were unusual and not commonly found in most pubs. In addition to some of the finer Colorado craft they also had 4-5 Russian River and 4-5 Mikkeller. They also had a large number of bottles including some bombers that had been aged. The pizza was solid but not spectacular but good value for money. Everyone there was very friendly and had a real passion for beer. I wish we had a place this awesome close to where I live.
