Visited with two friends on October 8, 2012. I didn’t eat, but my two friends did and they enjoyed it. Service at the bar was great, service to the table was not good. Big selection of draught beers, nice place, I could go back for sure.

Based strictly on the beer selection, this may be my all time favourite bar. 52 taps, the majority from Colorado. Half the taps were rotating and the selection changed a good bit from one week to the next during my two visits. The 182 bottle selection is great, which include numerous sour, lambic and wild ales from the US, as well as Belgium and other countries. As a Norwegian it was nice to see a Nogne Saison on tap for $8, half the price of at home. Unfortunately, several factors are pulling down the overall impression of rhe bar. If you take a right after walking in thru the main door, you have a game room, followed by a dining room full of pizza eating kids with their parents. This room can be avoided, but it still does not belong in a quality beer bar. The food was average.

tons of great craft beer on tap and in bottles - had a Pliny the Elder - they had lots of CO beer and plenty of rare stuff in bottles. the pizza was good, not great and the service sucked. conflicted about this place.

Always a pleasure to visit this place when I go to Boulder. Actually my favorite. Keep up the good work guys. Congrats on the year anniversary!!!

I like the comment below that this place is like Beer Geek Nirvana. Apt. This place has about the same selection as Falling Rock, with probably fewer taps but what seems like more bottled selections. i love the way they have beers organized on the menu, as it makes it easy to find what you like or to try something new. What differs about BCP compared to many other beer joints I’ve been in is the service. Of the three times I’ve been there, I’ve always had top shelf service. Impressively, the waiters and waitresses all seem to know something about almost every beer on the menu. Try getting that at a Flying Saucer! They rotate the taps pretty regularly to keep the selection fresh. Food is pretty good - not as good as Hops & Pie, but with a much larger selection to please all palates.

This place is like beer geek nirvana. They had 50 taps of craft beer and most of them were unusual and not commonly found in most pubs. In addition to some of the finer Colorado craft they also had 4-5 Russian River and 4-5 Mikkeller. They also had a large number of bottles including some bombers that had been aged. The pizza was solid but not spectacular but good value for money. Everyone there was very friendly and had a real passion for beer. I wish we had a place this awesome close to where I live.

Great pizza and excellent selection of beers on tap. My waitress was very rude and didn’t visit our table between the time she took our order and the time she brought the bill. I’m sure this is the exception rather than the rule but I’ll see the next time I’m in there.

The pizza is just meh, unfortunately, and all the big screen TVs and lack of personality/soul (feels like a big chain) make the atmosphere one of "get me outta here!", but...yes, the beer selection is quite good. Nice selection of both bottles and draughts, so even a picky bastard like me can usually find something to be content with.

Love the original backcountry pizza in nederland, co. This place has 50 taps and most of them are rotating with the best beer you can find. the food is great, the pizza in ned is better though. stop in when in boulder you will always find 50 good to great beers.

Stopped for lunch here on my walk to Avery ( be warned if you do like me and walk, it is a few blocks down the street ) Good food, had a nice pizza, very nice helpfull and knowable sevice, wich pointed me to a few nearby breweries i could visit. Great selection of beers, sadly no Angels share while i was there. Abit on the pricy side, but not to bad
