The mapping of this place on the rate beer map is wrong, and it can’t be corrected as it’s the map programs fault. It’s right off the highway. They had 10 beers and a cider on tap so I ordered up the 8 beer sampler. The beers ranged from average to pretty darn good and some experimental styles to boot. You can also sample wines and grab a pizza or sandwich. They had a flat screen behind the bar so I was able to catch some NFL pregame which was good. The seating area itself was small and the bartender was friendly. I’ll stop back next time heading to Dark Horse.

Been here multiple times and I am so happy that they are around and will continue to go there. The beers are good and for a brewery just starting out before they have time to start experimenting I’d have to say what they have is perfect for getting the everyday sort of customer in wanting more. The food selection is small and nothing spectacular which is fine they are a brewery not a diner. The service is horrible and I hope this is just growing pains. They host lots of fun stuff and activities and I wish them nothing but the best, please stop in and try their excellent line up of beers! ADVICE: Drop the winery, keep the winery down the street, turn this location into a full fledge bar with multiple TV’s and seating and a full waiting staff. Expand the kitchen and expand the activities that bring people in such as the chili cookoff. Serve food everyday and for Gods sakes make the mug club punch card out of card stock and not paper. Start listing upcoming beers in an email sent to the email list with introduction dates. This is a very easy thing to do to get customers to return, post upcoming beers on a board with upcoming expected dates. Our Octoberfest beer is being created and should be expected Sept 12th.... something like that.

Stopped in on a weekday evening. Tried the Ink Monkey Black IPA and the Cascade WPA. Both very good. Ambiance is a little unusual because it is part brewpub, part wine tasting room. Winery has been around for awhile but the brewery only opened 10/2011. Eight beers on tap. Nice bar with a number of tables. Lots of natural light. Bartender was very friendly. The place wasn’t crowded so he able to talk. Only a one barrel system at this time. Overall nice place with good beer. I’ve heard the pizza is good, but didn’t eat anything on this trip. If you find yourself on I-94 just west of Jackson, MI this place is definitely worth a stop.

The beer is everything craft beer should be. The variety is great. The staff is friendly. The occasional live music is wonderful. The Reuben is amazing.

Very clean brews, excellent pizza, and a unique setting combine to create my new favorite local brewpub. They offer growlers, sampler flights, and sandwiches and pizza’s. I haven’t had anything there that I haven’t like and neither have any of my friends that have been with me. Highly recommendable overall!
