Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Good crowd, lot of Card, Rams and a few Blues fans. Busy evening in St. Louis. Food was excellent, good variety and multiple options. Selection of craft beers was around 30. lot of good local stuff. Worth a stop for a bite to eat and a brew or two.
Visited on a Wednesday night. Very cool vibe, sort of soda fountain place you see in movies with great burgers and great beers. The selection was quite good, 29 local taps which is quite cool. Prices were decent and the food was quite tasty. Service was excellent as well, you can get half pours of everything and when I made a terrible selection they swapped it out for me. Definitely recommend.
A very cool burger restaurant that focus on local taps. A large two tiered restaurant with large bar downstairs and a large communal seating. Server was friendly and knowledgeable on local beers. They had 30 local beers on tap available in 9 and 13 oz. The burger and chili fries we had were delicious and the prices were competitive especially considering the quality. I was thoroughly impressed.
This place sort of intrigues me. In a way, it’s just a typical upscale burger and beer place. But the ice cream, decor, and sort of plastic nature of the place also give it sort of a juvenile, perhaps soda fountain vibe.
In any event, they’ve got around 30 drafts, most of which are from local Missouri and Illinois breweries. Burgers are the focus here. They’re all around $10-15, and an order of fries is an extra $2. The sriracha ketchup is a solid dipping sauce. They do full and 9 oz pours on all the beers.
Fairly crowded on a Friday night, but still plenty of places to sit at the bar tables. I understand it’s busy, but the service here was slow.
Mildly amusing anecdote: while taking notes on the beers we ordered, the waitress thought that I was taking notes on her service and was going to write her up for something. We had to explain that was not the case.
Overall, cool place to grab something to eat and a few beers.
Visited on a Saturday night. Nice upscale burger joint with a good beer selection. 30 taps available, with all of them being local beers. The burger I had was very tasty. I would definitely come back if I was staying in downtown St. Louis again.
First stop during my stay in St Louis for RBSG. Pretty cool 2-story place, nice ambiance and decor. We sat at the center row of high-top tables, just a little crowded. Waitress was very patient with our manic ticking, and she had a cool high-tech live menu. Solid selection of local crafts. I had a plate of fried pickles, probably the best I’ve ever had. Cool place, overall.
Fantastic burgers, fries and malts. They also get all the little things right... from the mason jar water glasses to the... oh, Hell, everything. The nice craft beer selection is just a bonus. Their salted caramel malt is the best malt/milkshake I have ever had.
A really trendy common seating environment, bustling and exciting. Service was efficient, but not really helpful. Beers were all local, but 9oz min pour. Food was great but pricey. A nice place that would satisfy all tastes.
