Great spot downtown and very fun and trendy. No food, but the Mexican place across the street delivers. Self service, but the line moves quickly. Board is cool and beers are all local. Great place for Portland craft and very good prices.

Great ambiance with big windows and view of an interesting part of downtown Portland. A great tap list of mostly Oregon beers, with many I’d never heard of from breweries around the PNW - things you can’t get in bottles. Good walk-up service, nice bottle selection, too. This is a first rate place and should definitely be on anyone’s list.

Small bar with a great selection. The electronic tap list is great, shows the keg levels and what’s coming up next which is also available online. Why don’t more places do this!

Visited December 12 2013. Quite small place with very good tap list. Only quality beers and also nice selection of bottles in fridge. If you want good seat it is better to come very early because this place is rather popular and location is great. Digital tap list was great and this place is modern in a good way.

Great selection for such a little place. Loved the electronic menu that included ABV and amount left in the keg. Cool beer bar in downtown Portland, we will definitely check it out again.

Great bar, selection is one of the best I have seen on this trip. Bartenders were great as well.

Visited for a couple of drinks while our wives were across the street at a vintage store...had a bit more time then we expected but that wasn’t a problem. There at openning and the place got mostly filled up fairly quickly however even with just the one guy (I think owner too) behind the bar service was quick and friendly. He definitely knew his beers, as well as his bottle selection, and there was a nice spread of west coast offerings focused more on smaller and local breweries. Prices were reasonable and the option of sample trays was great, not too mention that if you just want a taste of anything they sure are accomodating. When walking downtown its worth a stop in to see what they have on tap - and the online list of their beers (including amount of beer left in each keg) is accurate. No minors and no food. Nice windowed location with some fun old school board games (connect four) along with newer offerings like apples to apples.

What a cool place. We stumbled in for KillerBeerFest 5, so we were able to get some really good, exotic brews for darn good prices. The "live" beer board was cool, and the service (walk up only) was fine. We really enjoyed our visit a lot...

Awesome beer bar in downtown Portland, sort of in a league of its own in the area. APEX is on the Eastside. Best thing about Bailey’s is that they don’t serve food but let you bring in food. And across the street is some of the best Mexican food around at Santeria’s. Order from Bailey’s or walk across the street, put in your order, pay, and then walk into Baileys for it to be brought over. They do this so much that Baileys has a dirty dish disposal.
Tap list here is live update online with keg fill levels. Welcome to the 21st century! I wish more bars did this. Focus is on Oregon small brewers, lots of crazy local stuff you won’t find anywhere else. Nice variety of styles. 1 or 2 cask ales. Server knew his stuff. They also allow you to buy bottles off their bottle list for on-premise OR take away, which was crazy. Markup on the bottles was lower than you’d expect. A local favorite for a reason. Not to miss. The only reason I wouldn’t give this a 90 score is that they close really early- midnight on Friday/Saturday. Which is a bummer.

Such a kick-ass beer selection on tap and the live up-to-date tap feed is a nice touch. Modern beer bar that appears to lead the way around these parts. Had beers here a few times and the bar always draws a good crowd, yet still comfortable enough during the day to sit and have a relaxing beer. A lot of bottles although probably enough interest on tap, for me anyway. Service is attentive and they make sure you don’t have an empty glass. You can order food from across the street and eat in.
