Nice, quiet, little place. Friendly service. Very good selection of unique beers. They donít have a restaurant, but there are several good food items for sale. An outstanding brewery.

Visited on a Saturday night over a holiday weekend. Not too busy when we were there. A pretty standard industrial type brewery taproom atmosphere. 10 house beers on tap and 1 guest beer by Rainy Daze on tap. The beers were somewhat hit or miss, with a couple really nice ones and a couple that left something to be desired. But this is a cool place, especially for a place like Bainbridge Island - worth checking out if you are staying on the island. There is also a winery next door and a distillery across the street.

Visiting from Minnesota. Ran into a local named AJ who showed us around the local breweries in Poulsbo and surrounding area. How could we go wrong? Great beer, great people, great experience.

New place great tap room and super brewery. This is going to e a fun place to watch grow. Super tap list. Food need to bring yur own they do have snacks if needed. Loved the beer.

Itís brand-spanking new and it looks like it walked out of a would-be brewerís dream. Everythingís custom, everythingís shiny and clean and fresh off the truck, and everythingís nice and welcoming. Itís as close to perfect as an ambitious little brewery can be. The beers are tasty and the people are super nice. Whether it stays a neighborhood brewery or makes a bigger regional splash, the next few years will tell. But either way itís a great place to stop for a pint when youíre on the island. And who isnít on the island from time to time?
You head down Sportsmanís Club Road, and youíre already having fun--so far youíre only reading the street signs. Itís past the church and in the new little retail park on the hill. Virtually every space here is leased, so I imagine thereís a nice hustle and bustle during the week. You walk in to a clean, bright, high-ceilinged place with a shiny (literally, shiny) bar back and a few highboys scattered around. The brewroom is functionally a part of the taproom area--you can see brite tanks and conical fermenters a few feet past the bar.
Thereís a staircase to a loft upstairs. The loft is like a living room--tables and chairs, overstuffed reading chairs with side tables, flat screen, board games. Itís a great place to relax and hang out with either friends, a book, backgammon, Risk, sports on TV, or all of the above. Just one bathroom downstairs and another up.
The beers rotate fairly regularly, and range from american ales (IPAs, stouts, porters, ambers, pales, etc.) to belgian abbey and farmhouse styles, to a variety of lagers. They tend toward a balanced approach in their recipes, with a few big beasts lurking here and there. They grow some of their own hops, and will start experimenting with special ingredients before long.
I canít wait to watch this place grow and progress now that theyíre ready for people to come through the door. Good people and good beer always deserve recognition.
