Nice intimate place at the end of an alley, just 5 min from Harajuku station. Nombei card gets you 12 pints for the price of ten, so good if you are a local or with a group. Good selection of excellent Baird beer. Food menu is limited and didnít partake.

Cool place in a awesome suburb. I love Harajuku. The Harajuku ale, I loved it Edamame was nice, not the way we serve it over here, but when in Japan..
Cool place, a good respite from the madness of the streets.

Really nice place. Decor is all wood with a few tables and lots of bench seating. Atmosphere was good when it was busy and also when it was quieter. Service was great and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Food great too, and plenty of stuff for veggies. They had 15 kegs and 2 cask going when we visited, naturally all Baird. If you are going to have a few ask for the nonbei card and you will get 12 for the price of 10. We spent a fortune here, but the prices are not excessively higher than other places. Just couldnít stop eating and drinking. Will definitely be going back.

Solid little Izakaya like place. Easy to find just to the left of the main street in Harajuku when you get off the train. No guest taps. Lots of wood, like the Naka meguro location, but not as caverous and therefore more intimate. Good stop if you wanna check out the crazy that is Harajuku.

Bairdís is one of my favorite brew-haunts in Tokyo.
The place itself is small but nice. It has a smooth, traditional izakaya style wood-paneled bar. All the seats and tables are also made out of richly colored wood. It looks pretty slick.
The service is great. The bartender is good at both Japanese and English. He is extremely knowledgeable about beer and all around seems like a nice guy. Food gets to your spot promptly, and good recommendations are offered when requested.
The selection is great. Anywhere from 12-17 beers are available on tap, with 2 on the hand pump.
The food is traditional izakaya fare, with most items costing about 500Y (6 bucks in todays market). Everything Iíve had has been tasty.
All in all, the pints are a bit pricey (1000Y). However, you donít get that much microbrew in Tokyo and the food is cheap. Iíll support them without a second thought.

Nice wood interior like Bairdís other Taprooms. Was pretty dead when I went in, so maybe I canít judge well. Selection decent, though somehow not quite as good as Nakameguro. Seems very competent, though.

Was there for pre-opening night, so need to come back on a regular night to get a better feel and will change rating at that time. In comparison with the Nakameguro Taproom, it is cozier, darker and more comfortable with not as many taps. The focus here is also on Yakitori (skewered meat) and on traditional Japanese food. No Western food is available as far as I know. 15 taps and two handpumps. From Harajuku station, take the Takeshita Dori exit. Walk down Takeshita Dori and hang the first left past MacDonalds. Walk down the street to the very end and it is on the right side of the street on the 2nd floor. Update: Went back, but didnít try the food. What I didnít realize the first time is the acoustics are really bad. Even when only half full it is really loud and you can hear conversations across the room
