Only a short visit because I had to catch the last train. Didnít try food so not rated. The selection is very impressive (71 taps), easily the best Iíve seen around here. They had a nice mix of Japanese brews, US beers and even some house brews to offer something for everyone. Service was alright but they seemed really busy so I didnít bother to chat too much. Some other people did though and the staff seemed to know what they were doing. I also got a discount coupon for the next visit which was a nice. Then onto the negatives. The place seems to be super popular, so itís very crowded and really loud. Also, as I mentioned the staff is really busy because of this so they can hardly keep you company. Better bring a friend or two along. They do have a small patio which might be better but I couldnít try it because it was raining. Next, the prices seemed a bit high to me, even by Tokyoís standards. With strong beers, youíre limited to 150 or 200ml servings which was a bit of a disappointment. They did have some sampler plates which seemed to be more reasonably priced (3 @ 600yen, 10 @ 1700yen i think?). Iím not a fan of the environment overall, but the selection is what sold it to me. Even though I didnít exactly enjoy my first visit, I will definitely pay them another one. Maybe itís better during earlier hours?

Big busy place with a huge tap list. Prices are ok for Japan and you get some discount for your second visit. Its a must for Tokyo, BUT...it still not what people think. We were not allowed to sit at the bar, for no reason, and in general you dont feel relaxed.

This place feels like the Great Lost Bear transplanted to Tokyo. Huge taplist with heavy emphasis on Japanese craft. Menu subdivided by style. Everything from classics to seasonals to their own-brand to hop filter infused beers. Very popular. Get there when they open to beat the crowd, which is thick, loud, and sociable. They have a great happy-hour special where you get a free appetizer with every beer, so if you have a few you get free dinner! There are also lots of discounts for regular customers. Prices for beer are normal for Tokyo. Lots of fun, lots of great beer! Must visit.

This was one of the first places I visited in Japan and I was rewarded with a huge dose of culture shock. Incredibly busy and raucous atmosphere (on a Monday night), really difficult to get a bartenderís attention, endless cries of íIrrashaimase!í whenever someone walked in... I didnít know what was going on! Anyway, I returned two weeks later, having travelled around Japan, gained an understanding of their bar culture, and this time I had an absolute blast. What did not change between visits was the quality of the beer. Ridiculous number of taps, all kinds of styles represented, menu updated daily on their website... what more do you want? Itís a great place to get acquainted with Japanese beer, and a must-visit whilst in Tokyo. But learn from my mistake and prepare yourself for the culture shock if this is your first time in Japan.

Excellent place in Tokyo. I like how the focus is on the Japanese stuff and not just flogging off all international stuff although there is plenty of that, too. The food is great and service is also great. Definitely check it out.

More like a restaurant with bar than a pub. Crowded with excellent selection of beers which are available on sample plates. Good place to spot Japanese micros. If you want a peaceful evening, donít come. Even personnel is boisterous. One of the must-go places in Tokyo for sure.

Stopped by on a Saturday night. Despite it being rainy and poor weather the place was packed. Iíd recommend a reservation. If you stop by more often, you may want to get a memberís card (I got one! So rbíers, donít hesitate to drop me a line if youíre in town) The beers are unfortunately quite large pours (9 oz or so) so sampling is not really possibly unless you have a few people and go for the 10 glass sampler. Prices are typically Tokyo prices for 500-700 yen for the 9 oz pours. Selection can be hit or miss but last time they had fresh Ballast Pointís Victory at Sea on tap. They also have a small bottle shop in front that may be worth your time if youíre looking to take stuff home. Food is mostly pub food but good enough to keep you full. My only complaint is that everyone is placed practically shoulder to shoulder together and itís rough to move around even a bit.

Most amount of taps in Tokyo. Service was amazing for how packed the place was. Food was severely underwhelming, but letís be honest weíre all hear for the beer. Quite cramped without much room between tables. They were out of quite a bit that I wanted to order, so going early is probably recommended. A little on the pricey side. A must-go based on selection but once is probably enough.

Deserves its ranking among Japanese craft beer bars. MUST stop place in Tokyo.
