I love coming here! Amber is so wonderful to talk to and boy does she know how to pour a beer. The rest of the staff is great and extremely approachable. Great place, highly recommended!

The ’bigger brother’ to the origonal location, it’s def nice inside and they pour full pints. But the homebrewmart is my gig, since I’m a homebrewer. Wish this place was closer as full pints would really kick ass, but too far from me during the wrong way of rush hour. Hit it if you’re close ore headed to Alesmith off of 15.

Had a real good time here. Kaaren really took care of us and was very nice. She saw us standing outside after going to the Alesmith ticket give out waiting for the, to open at 11:00 and let us in 45min. early. Very nice little tasting room, alot of nautical stuff every where. Very good tap list, the usuals as well as four special releases (BA Sea Monster was amazing). One TV to watch some NCAA conference tourney games while we drank. Very good prices too, had the 3 tasters for $5 for their little competition going on, well worth it. Always a nice place to stop, this time Kaaren put them on top of my list as a must stop in San Diego (even though she’s a MN Golden Gopher)

very convenient location off the 15 and a nice new bar top and now has doubled their taps to 20. very nice place to stop by at try pretty much any beer Ballast Point is currently brewing. Wish they would do growler fills of their specialties but overall, its still a excellent place to stop by and try 20 different excellent BP beers.

Visited in 2009. Like the place, typical small US microbrewery. Beers are very good. The guy running the tasting room gave me a very good brewery tour. Was here in 2006 the last time, have to come back soon.

Visited last year. Great brewery with tap room, big selection of all of their beers. The patio at the sunset was very nice. I remember a splendid Sculpin IPA on tap. Very nice place.

The beers were cold and the smiles were long. Thank you Ballast Point and thank you SD HOT LIMOS for recommending us to our new found brewery! http://www.sdhotlimos.com/san-diego-brewery-tour-beer-tour/

Strange that I was there the same time as Hophead22 and didn’t even know it. I was surprised that the place was open almost an hour early and I guess he was why, so thanks to all! I agree totally that this is on my list for San Diego destinations from now on. They seem to try to have BA selections on tap, they will pour you anything, and they are not shy about casks. Bottles are dirt cheap - won’t buy them anywhere else from now on. Also, the two ladies who helped me were both very welcoming and very pretty, so I guess there is something for everyone.

Nice little brewery located in an industrial park just East of the 15 freeway. Service is quick, polite, and efficient. Patrons are cool and laid back. Place is a little small, but so are most bars. Outside the brewery is a large lawn you can relax on after you drink. On the day I visited they had Victory at Sea and Sculpin along with I guess 8 other beers on tap. Glad I went. Brewery is in close proximity to AleSmith and Green Flash.
