Nice tasting room, seating inside and out. Good service and beer. Big tap list of their main beers and a few special brews.

We fucking rinsed this place, massive tap list with lots of special brews. Very small though so get here early. Good place to drink on a sunny San Diego weekend. The chicago food van was awesome too.

Not sure how this slipped through the cracks but some how I havenít rated this after visiting numerous times over the past 5 years. This is conveniently up the way from AleSmith but in a quieter residential area. For a large building the tasting room is kind of small. Plenty of room for 20-30 people but on Saturday mornings (these days) it gets busy with all the bicyclists that want to chug some beer after riding. Seriously, the whole front yard is full of bikes and itís very difficult to get a table. And forget about getting a drink. That takes 30 minutes during those times, and when else is an out of towner going to stop in here? The upside is that parking a car is easy and there are tons of taps on. They occasionally do events here where theyíll have a dozen versions of Sea Monster or something. I know this is where they started distilling but Iím not sure if they have moved that to the new larger location or if itís still done in the little closet in the back here. They do growlers and singles here too. Nice place; I should stop in more often when in SD.

Located where you donít expect to find a tasting room. But this is quite nice, with a very nice patio. Nice selection of beers from Ballast Point, but maybe not a lot of rare brews. Worth a visit when in the area.

Nice brewery tap, excellent selection of own beers - finally one SD brewery that has its own gems! Outdoor seating as well. Service was very slow when we visited.

Nice brewery and tasting room with some of my favorite beers. BTW...some people talk about not liking locations of breweries...in industrial or corporate parks...I find this strange...if itís a brewery...it needs a manufacturing location and the owners need to find the lowest cost location...and also meet building and use codes...and If they can somehow make the place appealing in spite of their primary goal...kudos to them! Anyway (been meaning to get that off my chest...lol!)...very nice brewery room with patio outside...with tables and umbrellas. Definitely a must place to visit when in the SD area...although I still like Green Flash, AleSmith, and Lost Abby a notch better.

Decent sized tasting room, nice little patio. Good selection, just not a whole lot on tap that caught my attention at the time i visited. Good service. Definitely worth stopping in.

This brewery is a store front in an industrial park. Sort of weird location, but they take advantage of the lot with a nice front patio. Nice selection of beers - all Ballast Point, of course - but quite a few experimentals available. Decent little gift shop to go along with it. They donít directly offer food, but have a rotating food truck schedule.
