Smallish tap room with standing tables only. The guy behind the counter was extremely nice and hooked me up with half-pints. They have beers on draft that you can’t get in many places. Kinda crowded, but great prices. Relaxed atmosphere.

Their newer brewery. When you walk in, your walk right into the tasting area. Nice little area. You can buy samples. This is where I discovered my favorite porter. Victory at Sea. The lady behind the counter didn’t know to much about beer and I felt bad when people were asking her questions and she couldn’t give them answers. Overall a decent experience.

Ballast Point in Old Grove has grown up a lot in the last few years.Use to be you could just walk in and for a private ask for a tour , and now you have to come at a certain time.They have remodel the place add alot of hanging fish from the ceiling and alway have four different seasonal beer on tap it seem to be now days.They have nice table to put your beer on and seems to enough for everyone.

Some of the best beers are made here. Great tap area for growler fills or just to enjoy a pint. Good bottle selection as well and of course prices are great.

Just a smallish tasting room with the regular lineup and four special taps when I stopped in. Tasting flights of the regulars or the special beers available, and bottles of everything that is currently available. The bartender was very nice and good looking to boot. Casual feel with tall bar tables and beer geeks standing around shooting the shit; nothing fancy. Can’t compare it to homebrewmart, but I’ll check that out the next time I’m in town. Oh, and Sculpin on tap here is out of this world.

Cool location. Very laid back. Amber the bartender is really fun and they serve awesome brews. I always look forward to getting the special release bottles like Dorado, Sculpin, Victory @ Sea.....Defenitely a great stop if you love craft beer and are in San Diego.

The original location for BP, a good location at that, however, I prefer the home brew mart location 2 to 1. This one can get really crowded and the vibe is less beer geeky and less relaxed. Though special casks ten to happen here more often.

Stopped in for a quick pint, really enjoyed the Dorado! I got to meet the head brewer and his buddy who just helped with the expansion of the tasting room. It’s not quite as interesting as their other place, but I had a great visit with them and would recommend this spot to anyone. Thanks!

Went there after a long day of snowboarding. Amber was awesome, having a few brews herself, pouring full pints of victory at Sea.....needless to say I fell asleep on the car ride home. Nicely done tasting bar, mounted fish on the walls (fake I think), a good place to have a brew if you’re in the area.
