I was pretty disappointed with the tap selection- maybe one beer that isnít easily available in bottles. Sculpin was fresh and on cask, but the cask conditioning flopped and the beer was disgusting. However, we waited around for awhile (standing room only Iím afraid), but we were given a personal tour of the brewery and ran through the process quickly, played around with the different hops they had refrigerated, and got to go into where they are distilling their own rum, gin, and whiskey! Not bad.

Jam packed when we visited on a Friday afternoon. Small inside space, but spillover onto the front lawn. Quick and friendly service despite the throngs. Quick peeks into the brewery through the serving area. Worth a stop for sure.

Stopped in for a couple beers. Very small place with mostly standing room. The list of beers was pretty average and nothing was too special. It was nice to get some of the IPAs fresh. In the middle of a industrial park and not convenient from most places. Probably would not go back.

The selection of taps is decent. a few specialty taps and then the standard taps. I love the options of serving size. Big fan of half pints.
only gripe would be them serving pints of special release beer. they blow kegs in no time. would prefer just tasters of some of the more limited stuff.
good service though and great ballast point beer.

This place rocks. Pretty simple brewery, with a cool vibe. Clean and neat inside with a limited amount of space to hang out but that made for a great way to meet and talk to people. Excellent service, even when the place got packed. The beers.... so good, we got to try Sculpin 3 ways, regular, w/ habaneros, and w/ ghost chilies. Great prices for the quality of beer, you can get pints, half pints, tasters and beer to go. Wonderful place, if I lived in San Diego this is the place that I go to a lot.

Visited on a Saturday. Easy street parking in a pretty area. Small, but nice tasting room, with a small window to what looks like a beautiful and large brewery. I sadly wasnít able to go on a tour at the time. They had rum barrel aged Three Sheets on which was nice, and probably the freshest Sculpin I have ever had (AMAZINGLY fresh and vibrant tasting!). Prices were very good. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. A good stop if you are near Alesmith (which is only a mile or two down the road).

I love coming here! Amber is so wonderful to talk to and boy does she know how to pour a beer. The rest of the staff is great and extremely approachable. Great place, highly recommended!

The íbigger brotherí to the origonal location, itís def nice inside and they pour full pints. But the homebrewmart is my gig, since Iím a homebrewer.
Wish this place was closer as full pints would really kick ass, but too far from me during the wrong way of rush hour. Hit it if youíre close ore headed to Alesmith off of 15.

Pretty rad setup. Tasting room with a chill group of people. The nice lady was quick to pour samples, great selection of Ballast Pint beer, great value, and a great tour of the joint from Brewmaster James.
