Selection: The selection is quite good with a variety of OCB beers, many of which are available elsewhere in the city and a selection of íinternationalí standards. In total there were 36 taps, 2 casks, and 127 bottles. Atmosphere: Dark, yet lively. A narrow space (similar to the old Smokeless Joe location) with seats for about 50 people, and a large blackboard advertising featured offerings. Service: Service was quite good. Not outstanding, but nothing missing either. Value: Excellent value. The beers I had were priced lower than what they could have cost elsewhere. The burger was very tasty, suited the beers quite well, and affordable. All told, a beef burger and two beers was less than $30

Visited on the evening of October 8, 2014. It was on a Wednesday night, but alot of people at this pub, well being in the Entertainment District, plus itís the opening season of the NHL, not a surprise. But Iíve managed to find a spot at the bar. The place itself is very small, about Volo size small. Typical pub look, dark wood and everything. Very good beer list, both bottle and tap, the prices are ok. The service was equally good, to the point that they prove Flying Monkeys wrong about one of their beers. Food menu is limited pub fair, but my burger was big and yummy! A must do again!

First things first: this place is over rated. Yes, the beer list is deep & wide & interesting. But the service was weak ... Our server was unfamiliar with many of the beers on their list & was unable to help or inspire. Also, a few beers were ordered but never arrived. The ambiance is typical theatre district The crowd is also a tad on the lame side: lots of 905íers & Bay Street dullards & musical tourists. Iíd take the victory cafe or the only cafe over this place any day. Disappointing. I hear they are about to get replaced by a condo tower -- maybe thatís why the servers arenít as on the ball as they should be? Will try again before the are demoed & just see if they had their b list team on the floor tonight.

A narrow, hallway of a place, it was very cramped and loud feeling when we arrived shortly after 5pm on a Wednesday night. Once the baseball crowd headed out to the game, we were able to relocate to a comfy couch in the front near an open window, which was a huge improvement over the stools we were sitting on in the "hallway" area near the bar. Service was very good, even when it was super crowded. Selection was way above average, with a number of beers I hadnít tried before, like No Chance With Miranda on tap, and Evil Twin Hop Flood in a bottle, and many many others. Food was pretty tasty. The homemade pot pie was a slight letdown, but my wifeís pork dish was great. The bill was a pleasant surprise when it came for what we ate and drank. Expected higher in Toronto. Overall, this is a hidden gem in the city, but apparently not so hidden any more. Worth cramming your way into, if you find yourself in itís neighbourhood.

Dark and long bar downtown, not unappealing but not as nice as most places in the area. Beer list was large and very local. Prices were decent, good if you catch a day with deals. Service was good and food was decent. A good bar.

Stopped in here during a layover BRU to DCA. Long and narrow place with a long bar and tables in the back, a bit dark. Helped a lot by an open front with a small patio. The draft list runs two pages, every entry was interesting, almost all local. Nice bottle lost as well, and the food was tasty. The highlight was the friendly and helpful staff and clientele. Danielle and her two accomplices took good care of us, and I met Kyle who accompanied me in barhopping for the rest of the day. And wifi is a nice touch. Well worth a visit.

Great addition to the Toronto beer scene on King West. Invariably impressive selection of local draft and a bunch of interesting imports in the bottles. Menu isnít huge but food is good. On the small side, but cozy feeling. Service is fairly knowledgable. Canít say anything bad about this place. May not be the best spot in town in my estimation, but itís up there.

Nice spot - great if youíre heading to a Blue Jays game. Not big - the bar and patio are nice, but if youíre at a table inside youíre pretty close to your neighbours. A couple of hand pumps, thirty or so taps, and a bunch of bottles. The casks and kegs are mostly local, the bottles are out-of-province and foreign. The food is mostly pub grub with quality ingredients. Tasty, but not particularly healthy. The service is friendly and attentive. Nice spot.

Very nice bar. Not huge, visited on a Sunday night and was pretty rammed. Large beer selection, lots of Ontario beers plus a few others. Good wide range of styles on offer too, which is good. Didnít eat but food looked decent. But why oh why have Liefmans Fruitesse on tap? Of all the beers in Belgium...

Had dinner and drinks on a Saturday in this excellent beer establishment. Nice small comfortable feel, bartender was very smart and knew his beer. Food was great, had a great time drinking DDC and several good Ontario beers. Learned a lot about the local beer scene from other folks in the bar. Great place.

Great modern bar with a draft beer list only rivaled locally by barVolo. Good variety of local stuff, though the prices are rather absurd - I guess thatís normal for a downtown Toronto bar. Service was friendly enough and the atmosphere was very cozy. Definitely a recommended stop when in Toronto.
