A standard Bar Louie with a decent sized patio for additional seating. Bar is U shaped on one side of the building surrounded by seating and a few TVs available. Service is decent but not particularly beer oriented. 40 taps with a few that rotate and a mainly local focus. Have never tried the food and prices are decent. Not a bad stop but better around.

This place now has 40 taps! Lot of lame crap., PBR, miller lite, batch 19 on and on- ugh! With 40 taps you can find something worth drinking, had Greenbush Anger and an Oddside citra pale. Wait staff average. They have $1 burger nights on Tuesdays. Which was a cool deal especially combined with happy hour until 7.

A pretty decent draft selection, though half the time they are out of the beers I want. The food is meh, as expected from this place. Football and other sportd always on and a decent atmosphere. Clean. Gets very busy so get there early. All in all, this is a last resort in Ann Arbor though.

shoot me in the head bad, donít go to this place with Ashleyís 2 blocks away... newer decor but its cheesy chain with pictures of burgers on the walls, a dj blasting pop music so loud you can barely talk and cheeseball servers wearing terrible outfits pretending to be cool... a deceptive 50 draft list that is 50% of macrocrap or stuff you can get anywhere, 45% easy to find locals that are solid 3 bellís, 3 founders, etc, and then 5 real locals Iíd never heard of, however those beers were terrible... donít waste your time

People tend to over look Bar Louie in Ann Arbor thinking itís too commercial or too trendy. As a bar however, itís excellent. Huge U-shaped bar with about 40 taps with a good selection of craft beers. Food is average at best and bottle selection is weak. For tap beer, itís a good bar. I believe they have specials from time to time. It was all-pints are $3 night last time I stopped in. Craft brewers such as Founders, Stone, Shortís, Dark Horse, and more a featured regularly. Located close to another beer hotspot (Ashleyís), so if either one is two crowded you can try the other.

HOT CHICKS AND GREAT BEER... what more can you want in this freezing cold weather? Love the Buffalo Calamari and frosty beer. Huge patio during the warmer months!

A little noisy, but it is hard to beat this happy hour. They have a great selection of mostly imports and macros on tap, but they have a few micros on tap. The happy hour is a great deal. Food is a great selection, and during hapy hour, it is nice and cheap. Great beer price, above average selection, and always great prices.

This place is a pretty classy place, especially in a college town full of college town beer halls. This place steps it up a bita classy decor yet still with a fresh and fun ambiance.
Weekday happy hour from 5-7: most of their finer brews (and not so fine..) on tap are only $2 for a nice full pintplus their tap selection is much better than the average college town bara few locals such as Arcadia and Bells, as well as other micro staples such as Stone and Dogfish Head.
Tuesday nights (all night) $1 Burgers. I know what youíre thinking: they must be tiny, right? Thatís what I thought, but they were solid-sized burgers and pretty good too. Two of them stuffed me pretty well. So thatís definitely worth checking out if youíre looking for a red hot beef injection.
I last during a happy hour on Tuesday so it was kind of a madhouseabout a 20 minute wait but got a table on the back patio whicih was really nice (TVs outside too.. pretty impressive). Despite the business the service throughout seemed snappy and friendly from beginning to end.
The prices were definitely reasonable for the time when I went, but Iíd like to check it out on other nights as well. Bar Louie: a good time!
