A place with a very nice atmosphere, which is the place with most beers on tap in Bergen. They also have about 70-80 bottles beers. Bartenders offer good service and a good conversation. When it comes to food, the selection is not enormous, but the vegetarian pasta is absolutely magnificent, even for non-vegetarians like me.

Cool little place if you know what your drinking. Beer menu out of date but all shelf and tap beer available, bartenders helpful if asked and seem to know what they are doing. Tasty food and great snacks.. when they have them, impressed by the spirit selection and how they can fit so much behind that small bar. Good selection of IPAs, Porter, Belgium, Micro and Ales.

A large selection of beers, both on tap and bottled (60-80 different beers). Food not very good, but good ambience and the bartender is knowledgeable. Haandbryggeriet on tap!

Visited twice during my stay in Bergen, both late Friday/Saturday evening. Lively atmosphere but not too crowded. Three of their own beers on tap and an interesting selection of bottles from Trois Dames, Switzerland. I liked the beers from Baran and had a nice chat with one of the brewers/owners. Stumbled upon this nice bar, when Naboen pub was filled to its limits. Good selection of Norwegian micros on tap, as well as a wide bottle selection makes this a nice addition to Naboen and Henrik, which are located in the same neighbourhood. Knowledgeable bartender. Found Ægir harvest ale on tap.

29.06.2011. This place was new to me, and Im very happy that we went to this place. They have a very good selection of international beers. We got very good service the staff had very good knowledge about their beers. Visit together with ClubGonzo, Palme, StoreMy and InBreak, and we had a very good time!

A dark and small but two-storey pub. Have a decent selection of beers on tap from Nowegian micro to belgian classics. They also have a "beer of the month"-system which provides a new beer every month on this tap. Decent selection on bottles as well. The staff is helpful and has great knowledge about beer.

Very good selection on bottled and tap beers, norwegian micros and rare and commercial ales. From a small decrepit bar they are now a very nice ambiance pub just in a couple of years.

This dark and cozy cafe-turned-pub in the heart of Bergen also doubles as a brewery (but not a brewpub, as the brewery is located in another part of Bergen) so they usually have 4-5 of their own Baran beers on tap. Except not when I was there the last time. They’re in the process of expanding the brewery and having thrown out the old fermentation tank haven’t brewed for a while, causing them to run out of beer this summer. But according to the bartender they expect to brew the first batch on the new equipment in a week or two. Despite the lack of Baran beers they offered half a dozen decent guest beers on tap, including a fairly fresh Flying Dog Snake Dog IPA and Swiss sour ale Trois Dames La Tentation. Baran is also less packed at night than say Henrik, so this would be a good choice if you arrive in Bergen late in the evening. The bar also has a fairly good bottle menu, certainly larger than Henrik’s, including Sam Adams Utopias and a very decent doppelbock from Tucher Bräu. Note that the bar used to be famous for its persian food, but the kitchen is now closed so there’s no warm food to be had. Last visited: 2014-09-05

An interesting place with their own beers on tap. Not of superb quality any of them, a tad too gentle as well, but it’s a nice place to sit back and relax. They keep other beers as well, including some imports they do by themself. A place I can go back to.
