If they mopped this place and gave it a new coat of paint it would still be a dump.

The Barking Dog is a typical bar, not really the type of place you’d generally see added to RB, and I honestly don’t actually know what it is doing on here. (I certainly didn’t add it). A two floor place where the upstairs tends to be a little more of a club/dance type of place, and downstairs is more of a bar. They have a good selection of beers for Bethesda ONLY because Bethesda bars have terrible selections of beers. A mostly macro tap selection with a few local offerings. Not a beer drinkers destination by any means, but when in Bethesda these days, it’s about as close to one as you might be able to find, sadly.
