I just came back from a couple of nights in Temecula where we had dinner at Barley and Hops. The beer list was pretty good. They have over 40 taps and there were plenty of micros to choose from. The food and service were excellent. Iíd definitely go back when Iím in that area.

Love this place for their beer selection. Some real hard to find beers here.Had a pint of RRís Pliney the Elder last time I was here. If you are in Temecula and you love beer as well as wine, you must stop here.

The service was extremely slow which perhaps explains why the place was still half empty at 8:00 p.m. on a Saturday night. The food was average. The beer was fine. The managment, however, turned off the Angels/Rangers game in the 8th inning to turn the station to the same football game being shown on the big screen just a few feet away with absolutely no explanation why. And still refused to turn it back on after 3 requests. Not worth the price. So many good choices in the area. Youíre better off taking your business elsewhere.

Fantastic draft selection - they claim 41, I counted 35. Really good bottle selections too. Lucky enough to catch Stone Vanilla Bean Porter when I was there but could have picked out at least 6 others too. Bartneder was knowledgeable, didnít eat.

Solid beer list with a variety of choices on draught and an amazing bottle selection including IPAs, rare brews, stouts and porters, Belgianís and hefís. Food is awesome brew pub fare and the dessertís are killer. Play darts, watch sports, drink beer.

Probably the best place to have a beer in the Temecula Valley, and that ain’t saying much. Beer geeks are bound to find one or two things worthwhile here, but for the most part, you won’t find anything otu of the ordinary here. The bottle list is somewhat impressive, but the taps are crowded by too much of the standard Harp, Bass, Stella beers. It’s like Half beer geek paradise, half typical Irish pub. The food is pretty good. Typical pub grub.

driving past temecula, i figured iíd get a place rating in and possibly find a beer i cant find down in san diego county. well, 1 out of 2...selection was pretty weak, especially the 20 or so taps of ok beers, pizza port 2nd ave, stone 12th, ballast black marlin porter...but then the majority of the rest were like guiness, boddingtonsm stella, hoegarden, ...blah. i had a hazlenut brown nectar on tap cuz i havent had it ina while. the bottle list took up 2 double doored coolers but nothing too impressive...orval, petrus, damnation, cantillon gueuze, all san diego locals...most of the people in here were by thereselves, like me, which doesnt happen a lot in san diego, but i dont know. didnt eat, didnt stay over 20 minutes. i suppose if there were no other place to go around here, which just may be the case..i guess it would be ok, but really...boring.
