I love this place. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had and always have a great selection of local beers as well as imports. The beers are always rotating so you keep coming back to try more. Tons of bottles to choose from too. All the beers are listed on a menu with complete descriptions of what to expect if you order one.

Would not miss going by when in Asheville. Pizza is as good as the variety of beer taps.

More taps than I’ve ever seen. All craft, most local. Good food. Busy but good service. What more could you ask for?

The wife and I were in Asheville a couple weeks ago and decided to check out BeerAdvocate to see where we should visit and Barley’s was the first place we decided to check out. I loved the layout of the place and we decided to have a couple drinks upstairs before eating downstairs. The highlight of my day their was the New Belgium Lips of Faith Tart Lychee which was fantastic. The food was quite good as well. I had pizza and the wife had a grilled chicken salad (I think). Overall, I’d highly recommend this place.

sat at the bar and jamie was our bartender it was a saturday night after football so they were busy. but she took her time i was in heaven with 55 taps to choose from. you can do samplers which is the easy way to taste as many as possible. the food was very good and really not that expensive. the beer prices were off the chart use to paying much more and was just in heaven. this would be a go back anytime in the asheville area. after we ate went to the upstairs bar to check out. busy with younger people playing pool, darts and foosball...still a great beer selection up there as well..

Have been here twice over the last month or two and have been equally impressed each time. The service is top notch. Qucik story, I order a beer with my food, but did not drink it while eating letting it get to room temp, the waiter asked if there was something wrong with it and asked it I would like something instead.....TOP NOTCH SERVICE, great job barleys. The selection is good, lots of locals(Asheville) and from NC. Food is good, pizza is great. Overall one of my favorite spots in Asheville.

Visited here for an early dinner on a recent trip to Asheville. Located in downtown Asheville. Service was quick, prompt, and the waitstaff was very polite. The selection of beers was impressive for what it was; almost every selection was a top notch selection from North Carolina (and most of them Western North Carolina) breweries. I chose the Pisgah Vortex I and was not disappointed. The food was very reasonable and very good (I had the pizza of course). If you are in Asheville this is a must visit if you like beer and/or pizza.

With 55 taps, Barley’s is by far the best place to go in Asheville for draught beer in terms of pure selection. The food is really pretty good too. There aren’t any house brews but the Highland Brewing Company lives in the basement. There are a couple of nice pool tables upstairs and smoking and more taps. The pool ain’t free, but the price on the beer is right. They have some $3 local pints (and also some high gravity $5.00 12 oz pours). Also, I recommend the nachos. They good!

Really enjoyed Barley’s. Great food, and a cool atmosphere. The better beer is upstairs, and you can still order food up there, so that is the place to be. Pool tables and a couple of TVs so don’t go for big sporting events (I was there for the NLCS watching my Cards!). Had the Meat Eater pizza, great stuff!
