Barnhouse is currently located in the basement/garage of the owners home, complete with back yard parking and pop-ups. The brewery will likely move into a new location soon, and I suspect will be expanding rapidly after that - their beers are quite good. The brewer/owner is a Chemical Engineer hobbyist much like myself except he is now selling his beer while I still give mine away or drink it all myself. This is a worthy stop, and keep your eye out for bigger releases from them.

Considering this is just some guy’s garage, this place is wonderful. And the beers are awesome. Just solidly done styles with no funny stuff. I expect them to continue to subtly improve over time as well. Hops vines out back, free peanuts on the table. Nice people as well. Can’t wait to see the new brewpub when it opens. Usually they have eight beers on tap while supplies last.

Small tasting room and brewing space out of the owner’s garage. Nice expansive backyard with a few tables and some hop plants along the far end. Selection of 8 or so drafts available in short glasses and pints. Not a huge beer list but everything I had was solid. No food other than shelled peanuts. Friendly service. Hear they’re hoping to relocate to a seperate location so hopefully they’ll have more hours.

OK, this is some dude’s garage. But don’t let that fool you, the beer is for real, each one tastier than the last. And the garage is jam packed with people having a great time, spilling out into the large backyard with a couple of tables, a fire pit and horseshoes, so the atmosphere rivals that of any fancy schmancy brewpub. To park, you just drive onto the side lawn. To use the toilet, you pass through the family’s laundry room and turn left at the photo of General Lee (the man, not the car). Food is peanuts. And there are growlers. Great place.

Good brewery based out of the owner’s basement. The beers are good representations of their individual styles, though not very adventuresome. I really wish they could be open more often than they are.

Garage. Interesting. Beer was pretty amazing for a brand new operation. Very professional tasting. Extremely tiny, very cozy, lots of people. Staff/owners are quite nice. Beer prices are pretty extremely reasonable. Loved the General Lee photo on the way to the bathroom. Open once a month.
