This place is a larger version of Trader Joes. It has a great selection of CA beers. The prices are pretty good compared to some other places in the area. I didn’t see any super rare stuff, but I did grab their last Alesmith Decadence they had on the shelf. They will hold beer for you too. The best thing about this place is the large parking lot. And that’s saying something in San Diego. If you are in the Sports Arena area, it’s worth stopping in.

Baron’s is a great grocery store especially for fresh produce, beer, and wine. Their beer selection is really solid and growing all of the time. They get all the local beers and a lot of the special release and more limited stuff. Have old IPAs a lot so keep an eye on dates and I with they put them in the cooler but they just don’t have room. Good prices. They also have Onion Dog in the the summer that are fantastic.
