Visited the 8th November 2014. Near to the center of Sheffield and behind the spa of Sheffield. It’s look a classical pub by the architecture and the ambiance. Great vibration inside. The place was crowd and the people were nice. The crew is pleasant. About the selection, you will find Thornbridge beers on tap. The selection is limited but what you will find it’s the newest release of the brewery. Nice place, not the best in Sheffield but a must to visit.

Although there are several cask ales on offer I prefer this pub for the architecture. Other reviews say it all.

Nice heritage pub with some classic decor, decent albeit limited selection of local and guest beers. Often overly crowded though which can make for an unpleasant experience.

Nice, small pub. The only Sheffield pub on CAMRA’s National Inventrory of Heritage Pubs, it is a lovely place to drink in. The drawbacks are that it can get very busy very quickly due to its limited space. The range is good with a decent mix of local and not so local guest beers. Well worth a visit if in the area.

Old fashioned, little back street pub with a great historic inventory. Two rooms, a snug and the lounge where we sat down and enjoyed a few beers from cask and tap. Rather crowded on a Thursday eve. Decent range of hand pulled ales and some interesting ones on tap (visited, 30.09.2010).

4 or 5 cask ales in a small pub with various rooms. Affordable prices. Folk rock on sunday evening. Relaxed atmosphere.

Laid back and friendly two room back street boozer with original tiling. 5 guest casks from small breweries and a cask of Tetley Bitter as a regular. Food served between 12 and 3, but not on a Sunday.
This is one of the pubs in Sheffield that most impressed me. The other was the University Arms. And it’s difficult to say which impressed me most.
The Bath Hotel however, is more in keeping with a working class area. A back street gem. Stunning tiled floors and bar area, and a front snug where the wall benches are upholstered in a beautiful and stunning blue leather. Built at the Victorian height of pub building, when pubs were at the heart of the community, and people stayed in their local all night. This place has an old fashioned charm and character not seen in the corporate, anonymous rubber stamp of a JDW or All Bar One. A little treasure to be treasured.

cosy back-street local just off West St’s main drag. compact, ond oddly shaped due to corner location. Half a dozen real ales from local and not-so-local micros, plus a handful of foreign draught and bottled beers.
