(Visited 08/2012): Stopped by this place randomly based on a proximity search on Yelp. The restaurant is located on Orange Ave off the 528 toll road. They have a private lot on the side and rear of the building.

The place has great decor both inside and out. Lots of kitschy German decor inside, including breweriana.

Bauern-Stube’s beer selection is relatively limited but has several German selections available in 1/2 Litre, 1 Litre or pitchers. These include Köstritzer, Bitburger, Paulaner and Warsteiner.

Service on a slow weekday lunch (we were literally there as the doors opened) was incredible. The nice German woman who served us (she was not our actual server) treated us as if we were in her home for dinner, and her admonitions of our actual server were hilarious.

Food at Bauern-Stube is very good authentic German cuisine. We were talked into several appetizers and sides in addition to our sausage plates and it was all good. The Nuernberger Bratwurst was especially tasty. Good mustard too.

All in all this is not a beer destination in Orlando but it is recommended for the atmosphere, good food and service and true German brews.

Very interesting place, and by that i mean crowded with knick-knacks. Good german food, especially the saurkraut which is dry and has quite a bit of pork in it, and the hoseradish sauce. Beer selection is good, and all german. Half a dozen taps, and half a dozen bottled hefes. Staff is freindly, knowledgeable, and helpfull. The atmosphere is difficult to judge, as i am the only person here before noon, but the music is fun. Three other tables by one o-clock, but very quiet lunch crowd.

Great German food and good atmosphere. I went for lunch one day and the owner was bringing around their signature dish for everyone to see Unfortunately, it was only available at dinner. The beer selection is mostly German, which is fitting. I’d put Bauern-Stube at the top of Orlando’s German Restaurants list.

Family run German place with great food and decent selection of German beer. Don’t go in and ask for a Mich Ultra! My friend got an earful from the woman that runs the place about his poor taste in beer (I totally agreed). Lots of fun, always an accordion player playing tunes and an Octoberfest every year.

I like this place. Very, very friendly. Good food, large portions, huge beers, though not as broad a selection as I would have liked. A good place for a homey, German meal with friends and family.

A fine example of German cuisine, one that sadly has been slowly fading from the American culinary landscape. I stopped in for lunch, and I was happily surprised by what I found. Sauerbraten, spatzle and red cabbage all washed down with a Hacker-Pschorr draft. The beer selection matched well with the menu, and the meal was closed with a shot of schnapps. A great place all the way around.

Very eclectic, german decorations and steins every where. There is a Stammtisch in the corner for the regulars. The staff is very friendly. The beer selection isn’t huge but all they carry are german beers. The schlenkerlas ur-bock was great with my saurbraten. You can get liters. And the food was great.
