Great food, great staff, and the best beers Long Beach has to offer hands down. Between the award winning beers that Julian is brewing for the restaurant, the guest beers they have on tap, and the bottle list that will blow you way. Plenty of room, easy parking. If your in Long Beach and love beer this is the only place that is a must see.

This is one of my very few favorite places. Call it top 3 in the US. Itís open later than the original. Itís closer to LA. You can TRAIN there from LA. The beer they brew is BOMB.COM thanks to Julian. Their guest taps are just as rad as the original. I have always liked their food.

Go for the stouts, they are outstanding. Very cool place, part of a larger housing/retail complex, so lacks a little of the traditional brewpub "charm", but the place is super clean and looks relatively new all around. Great set of rotating taps as well.

Just like the Seal Beach Bar, this place is fantastic! From the moment you walk in you are assaulted by the fantastic BBQ aroma of the first Beachwood, but then hit with the marvelous malt smell of a working brewery. Same vibe as Beachwood 1.0, but MUCH larger. Friendly vibe, well lit and with very knowledgeable people working throughout business. Gabe and Julian are already doing a fantastic job. The food is exactly the same as the first place (which is a very good thing). The guest beer selection of 24 taps is stellar (some real jewels). The house beers are slowly trickling forth and are all very solid so far (and I expect them to improve as Julian starts releasing the beers that he is known for). Parking is street or lot parking that I have found, so bring some coins or cash. Value is fair for the food and quite good for the beer. This place is pretty close to perfection as a bar, and I am super excited about this breweryís potential. A very necessary stop in SoCal!

Canít count the number of times Iíve been here. Food and beers are always great, staff is great as well. In addition to a good selection of house beers, thereís always a solid guest tap lineup. The food is really good. I donít think Iíve ever had a bad meal here. Only potential knock is that itís a bit on the pricey side. You canít really go wrong.

Right in the middle of the sort of dead residential and shopping area of Long Beach. Larger space than Seal Beach with a huge patio turning the entire area essentially open-air. Awesome tap list is on a live web cam so you can see exactly what is on tap. Large mix of house beers plus guest taps from top world breweries. Bottle list is extensive. Food is awesome, though itís not really southern BBQ. The tater tot casserole/poutine was delicious. The BBQ sandwiches are good, but there was way too much bread on all of them. The fried arugala, bleu cheese grits, sweet potato fries, almost everything was awesome. We ate here twice. Collards were yummy. Staff was very friendly and hosted us two days in a row for RBSG and Woodshop. Very fun place. Will certainly be back! Prices are good especially at happy hour. This is sort of like a mega upgrade of the Pizzeria Paradiso model.

Just like the Seal Beach location, this place is great. The service is friendly, the selection is unique, and the food is excellent. The prices, unlike a lot of places in the LA area are not bad. I would recommend this place to any lover of beer or good food.

Really cool little spot fairly close to where we were staying. Incredible food, remarkable tap and bottle options, and the decor was relaxed yet upscale. Loved the chalkboards with the tap list. Server was personable and knew a bit about the menu and brews. Will definitely return when near Long Beach.
