Iím writing this review for the service I received on 2/23/13. My buddy and I headed over to Beachwood Long Beach after The Bruery Initiation. I called when I left the event to see if they had any BA Full Malted Jacket left and there were 11 remaining. Being 35min away, I figured they would run out but I decided to try my luck anyways. Upon arriving, the bar was about 70% full so we sat near the left side of the bar. Beachwood seemed busy, but I have seen a lot worse. I asked if there were any remaining bottles and the bartender (didnít catch his name) informed me, "Hey I know you guys just called but we just ran out." I told him that I understood but we intended to order food and beers anyways. He brought our menus... then we couldnít get his attention for another 30min+. As more people came, he served them before us or he chatted it up with a couple at the other end. Once we finally got him to take our order, he had a bad attitude and didnít seem thrilled to serve us. WTF? Food came out and he didnít bring any napkins or silverware so we had to flag someone else over. To add insult, as we were getting ready to leace someone came in and a different bartender brought them out bottles of BA Full Malted Jacket. Hook your buddies up, but donít hook them up in front of customers that didnít get any and had been there for over an hour. Bad form. Overall: The Food and Beer were and always are great but Eff that guy. I hope someone knocks him off his high horse.

Great BBQ, great service, great beer (both guest and house), awesome place. Lots of beers to choose from covering lots of styles. Will continue to come in when I can. My only complaint is that its so far from where I live.

A very clean well lit atmosphere. Everything is so shiny and new in this place. The details of the tap towers are fun to look at, as is the craft brewery in the background. The service is great whether you are at the bar or at a table. The selection is much larger than the Seal Beach location. A dozen house beers and a dozen or more guest taps, all well thought out, not any beer stepping on another. The food makes me very happy, and fairly priced.

Canít count the number of times Iíve been here. Food and beers are always great, staff is great as well. In addition to a good selection of house beers, thereís always a solid guest tap lineup. The food is really good. I donít think Iíve ever had a bad meal here. Only potential knock is that itís a bit on the pricey side. You canít really go wrong.

Right in the middle of the sort of dead residential and shopping area of Long Beach. Larger space than Seal Beach with a huge patio turning the entire area essentially open-air. Awesome tap list is on a live web cam so you can see exactly what is on tap. Large mix of house beers plus guest taps from top world breweries. Bottle list is extensive. Food is awesome, though itís not really southern BBQ. The tater tot casserole/poutine was delicious. The BBQ sandwiches are good, but there was way too much bread on all of them. The fried arugala, bleu cheese grits, sweet potato fries, almost everything was awesome. We ate here twice. Collards were yummy. Staff was very friendly and hosted us two days in a row for RBSG and Woodshop. Very fun place. Will certainly be back! Prices are good especially at happy hour. This is sort of like a mega upgrade of the Pizzeria Paradiso model.

Great place. Nice patio, great food, very good selection of beers. Their house beers are solid, and they have good guests as well. Would love to go back and eat more, as well as try more of their own beers.

First visit was at there 1st Anniversary Bash. Iíve been to the Seal Beach location so I knew what to expect. This place is easily twice the size with the same good food. The Bash had 40 beers on tap with many hard-to-finds and one of a kinds. My buddy and I had a great time. One more beer and I probably wouldnít have remembered it.

Weeknight dinner. Really nice bottle and tap selection here, and the food was very good. Overall, the service here is great. Definitely a great place to have dinner and some rounds of great beer. Bottles are pretty steep in price, but quite a choice of styles.
