I go here to try their brews and only have one(IPA) on tap Tuesday. Didn’t stay after the IPA, but shared a brew a guy bought. Asked about their beers, Long Beach is the place to go he said. Sad

Nice spot near the beach. The day I was here they had lot o Saison on tap,from all over the world,can’t remember if they had a event or something. The service was friendly. Unfortunately I took just a couple of brews so I need to go back!

Wow. Right off the beach, massive selection of beer. Food was great gad rater tot casserole. Service friendly and attentive.

I guess it’s high time to update my review of this place. First went in 2008 after having walked by a few times without realizing it. The food is amazing and the service is always good. The first time I went in I was very surprised at how they "only" had 15-20 taps but they were all interesting and in most cases good. Had some obscure Speakeasy beer and something called Cuvee de Raisin (I eventually figured out who made that one). Sadly I dont get back enough but will try to periodically.

Complaints include that its small so seating is an issue, parking sucks, and the prices are high (but the food and beer are worth it).

Also, I hear they have a good bottle list but in my dozen or so trips I’ve never looked, I just drink the draft beer.

A very hole in the wallish type of atmosphere, very intimate and small. Great service, well thought out medium sized selection. Great experimental/southern hybrid cuisine. I love it. It’s fairly priced, but not a habit I could sustain if I lived closer. Much different from the LB location.

fantastic taplist of local and regional and international beer. delicious and well-made food (grits with mushrooms, do it) with passionate and knowledgeable staff and one of the most extensive bottle lists I’ve seen in the states. best of all, they serve the kegs at cellar temperature rather than freezing cold like most places around.

Love this place...when it’s not packed...which isn’t often. Always stop by when I’m in the area. Great service, stellar taps, and delicious food. Glad they’re expanding so everyone can at least get in the door and have a seat to enjoy what this lace has to offer.

Very small, cozy location one block from Seal Beach pier. Great atmosphere, chill, amazingly knowledgeable staff. All cute women with great training on craft beer- great recommendations. Tap list is large, about 23 beers on tap and a good bottle list to boot. Keg rotation is ferocious so check their LIVE TAP LIST CAM ONLINE! . They don’t do flights, which sucks, but will do very small free tasters, 1-2 oz pours, to see if you like a beer. When I was there they had three house beers on tap brewed at the Long Beach location, four Hangar 24 one-offs, 3 Fonteinen Beersel Lager (hard to find), Victory Prima Pils, Boon Framboise, Green Flash Double Stout, others. Very impressive. We all had lunch. Decent brisket sandwich for $5, good collard greens, very good bleu cheese grits. Great BBQ pork nachos and sweet potato fries. Come hungry. And don’t come expecting to get 10 4oz pours of whatever is on tap. Prices were good ranging from $5-$7.50 for pints. Lunch menu was a deal with all $5 BBQ sandwiches. Staff was pleasant and patient. Also gave us a little tour of their sick tap system.

One of my favorite beer restaurants. Great food, the smoked nuts are rad, and the beer list is out of this world on most any given day. BBQ is pretty nice as well but I definitely come here for the food.A little hard to find parking depending on when you go.

Visited today for the first time for Sour Fest 2011. As a lover of sours I was extremely eager to visit and try as many sours as possible. Place was providing 5.5 oz drafts from 4 to 8 bucks. My girlfriend and I ended up ordering 18 sours over the course of two hours, and I have to say that whenever I wanted a new round the bartender was right there to get us what we needed. Parking close to the place is limited to two hours, so park down the road on 6th or 7th street where on the north side of the road you can park for as long as you want. Brisket Sandwich was also good. On par with any BBQ in Los Angeles.
