New under 6% place in Knoxville. The "selection" score is based on plans the owner told me, so Iíll adjust if it doesnít come to fruition. Currently they have sixers of pretty much everything you can get in Knoxville under 6% (no singles except bombers, though, so thatís kinda a bummer). They plan to be a beer store first with an attached beer garden and a couple of taps, and brew their own beer (at the Turkey Creek location of SMBC). Additionally they plan to make regular runs to Nashville to get beers that are legal in TN but not sold in Knoxville. Very exciting... I really hope this works out. Its in a great location (for me, anyway) and I like the unique approach. Fuck it, this place is awesome.

A great little shop with a good range of beers and friendly and helpful service. Thereís a yard area too, with benches and tables to make a very nice beer garden (Visited 6 February 2014).

Beer market in Knoxville. Cool beer garden with plenty of tables. Market portion has decent selection of local and regional beers. Also some national and foreign beers. Growlers and kegs available. Selection is limited by the laws in TN that donít permit beer stores to sell above 6% abv. Service was friendly an knowledgable.

Great little place in Knoxville. As good as any that youíll find with a knowledgeable staff. Iím sure they would be a total place if the laws were different.

Considering the limitations against selling anything over 6% and the fact that a lot of stuff you would expect to find, like Terrapin, isnít available in the area this place is pretty cool. Itís all beer which is a statement in itself They have over 400 varieties in six pack and bomber plus much of its refridgertated. They also sell by case and keg. They have mostly regional and national craft with a few Germans thrown in. They also have 10 taps so you can drink while you browse or hang out in the courtyard area. The staff is really passionate about beer and Does a great job of educating about new sales and breweries without condescension. I wish I had a place this awesome in my neighborhood.

They try, but hey itís TN. Ok selection for Knoxville I guess (not very good compared to anywhere outside TN), but prices are on the high side. Friendly stafff and an ok place for a pint if youíre in the neighborhood.

Set in a building formerly occupied by a flower nursery, Chris has done a solid job bringing a laid back atmosphere beer-garden with a solid beer selection to Knoxville. The service is usually a function of when you go and ranges from over the top on a early afternoon weekday to mildly abrasive on a night with heavy greek folk traffic, but several of the staff members know their stuff which is always nice. The selection is hampered by Tennesseeís ridiculous beer laws, but the staff makes great effort in trying to stock what they can get their hands on. Overall, this is the best place in Knoxville to casually drink a variety of quality beers from across the globe.

Went here while driving through TN to get to St Louis. Wanted to find some local TN beers. They had very little because very few TN places bottle apparently. The lack of singles takes them down. I went on a good night. Yazoo was there with a Cask of Dry hopped IPA. It was good. The folks were very friendly. the whole place was more for beer drinkers, less for casual folks. I loved the open courtyard and enjoyed my brief visit.
