Small but excellent selection in the beer cooler of this grocery store. The staff is very friendly and you can find stuff here that no one else has (left). I got a bottle of a Cascade sour that no one else in Portland had. Close to County Cork and Alameda brewing. Prices on par with other stores in the city.

Johnís Market, Belmont Station, and Liquid Solutions have more extensive selections but this Mom & Pop market is a contender and their prices are very reasonable. Best of all...their beer buyer will bend over backwards to obtain requested beers. I absolutely love this place. Panil, Jolly Pumpkin, Drie Fonteinen and Fantome are just a few of the quality brewerys youíll find represented here. Iím guessing that they have 300+ different beers. If you are heading to Concordia Ale House do yourself a favor and check out this gem.

This place was a bit out of the way, but had the Sucaba I was looking for so swung over. Great little grocery store with a walk in cooler that could not have been packed any tighter with beer. The stuff they had was excellent though, just wish I had more room in my luggage to take things home. Great service that was friendly and somewhat knowledgeable about beer even though the beer guy was not there.

Finally hit this place up. Great selection. A tiny packed to the brim cooler, quite a lot of beer really. Have plenty of good stuff, some rarities and as others have mentioned their long time beer guy Justin is awesome. Certainly a great place to shop.

Small market with an excellent beer cooler that I actually missed seeing at first when I was in there. The selection is really jampacked and excellent for the small amount of space. Props for the "Deal Corral" as well.

Walk in beer cooler. No problem, It was colder outside (below freezing I think). Really good selection. Must have been 15 or 20 beers I had never seen, let alone rated. Donít forget to take a hand basket into the cooler. Didn"t run into the beer guy, but the dude in charge was ok for casual discussion. Hit Belmont Station and this place.

I cannot believe how much this place has changed for the better over several years. I was amazed with some of the beers found here. Great beer selection with pretty extreme range. Total geek field trip-worthy. Orkney Dark Island Reserve for $29. Iím a total idiot for not buying that. Worth it. The beer is probably much better kept here vs. Johnís Market, and possibly Belmont Station too. Itís in funky Fremont and you would never know this was a killer beer spot unless someone told you. I feel like Iím making a mistake writing about it because it is such an awesome hidden gem. Love the walk-in cooler setting. Service is only going to be good if you are there when Justin is. Heís the only one who knows whatís up.

Visited on Tuesday 11/11/14 around 3.30pm. Basically an out of (down) town supermarket with a great bottle selection. Approx 25/50% in the main store, the bulk in a self contained chilled room at the rear. Selection spans a good range from the US particularly CA - Bruery etc, and lots as you would imagine from OR, Block 15, Cascade, Logsdon etc. Lots of European offerings as well from Mikkeller and many more. The beer guy was very friendly and helpful and hit us up with some bottles of Sticky Hands which had yet to reach the shelves. Solid store well worth visiting, we took it whilst bar hopping between Columbia River and Alameda. Also grab yourself a block of the peanut butter fudge they sell at the checkout - boom !

The PDX insiderís store. First, I am biased because I have a good relationship with the beer buyer Justin. Itís a grocery store, so donít expect much in the way of ambiance, but Iíve always had great service here when I ask about things. Selection is typically solid, and theyíll hang onto bottles for a bit longer due to being out of the way. Prices are average for around town, which is to say, thereís not much room to complain. I frequent this place at least twice a month, and Iím very glad I do. Recommended.

This place is funny, itís a small neighborhood grocery with a great beer cooler along the back wall. The selection is usually quite impressive, tons of Mikeller, Stone, Ale Smith, Russian River, and everything else you can want in Oregon. They also have a "Deal Corral" which holds stuff for some percent off. I recently got a Jackie Brown for $3 off the normal price! This is a fun place to visit when you donít want to make the trek to Johnís, Belmont Station, or all the way up to Vancouver.
