Rather limited cask selection when Iíve visited so I opted for Goose Island IPA. Other Spoons at Gatwick have better cask selection.

Visited on a Friday evening in August 2015. Popular place. Checked out the handpull situation and on London Pride, Doom Bar and Broadside on so headed toward the Windsor n Eton Republika. Service was pretty quick. Prices are typical for an airport (Dick Turpin supplied the pricing strategy). Itís OK for a Spoons but not great. Airport wise itís a place to kill time

The Beehive is OK as an airport bar. Itís tucked away in a corner before security and, like most airport places, itís pricier than the average high street Wetherspoons. It has six hand pumps and had three cask beers on tap when we visited - Sharpís Doom Bar, Fullerís London Pride and Exmoor Gold. A plus was that they also had cans from Sixpoint as well as a few decent bottles.

If you have time this is a nice spot for a beer before safety control. Ordinary Spoon with ordinary selection, I liked the Flying Horse inside better.

Hard to avoid this one. But if you are very thirsty before going into a security check. You can relax with a beer here.

Located on the upper deck of the South Terminal concourse where the security entrance for departures is located. This is darkly lit atmospheric Wetherspoon broken by the obligatory electronic departures board so that you donít drink yourself silly even before youíve managed to leave the country. It has a slightly alternative selection of lager, meaning there are a couple of extra foreign beers to suit all nationalities passing through the airport. Thereís three ale pumps too. It also has its own menu. Prices are much higher than most Wetherspoon pubs but this is to be expected. Thereís no Wifi here from the chain as itís located in the airport who want to charge you for it.

Useful for picking up a couple from the latest Spoons fest, and you canít really complain when at an airport for anything worth drinking.

Nice selection when Spoons has a festival going, otherwise there are only a few beers available.

Wetherspoon pub at the airport before checkin. Ok ambiance considering lokation. Average service. They are part of wetherspoons real ale festivals (when I visited thay had 3 ciders in the fridge on tab!), so at that time they have some ekstra casks. Normally 3 casks and one is there own beer: BeeHive, Besides 7 normal (uk) tabs.
