Visited in januar 2012 on our pre-winter-ale-pubcrawl..
A traditionel smaller pub close to the center / shopping area. 3 cask from the larger breweries, no micros on when we visited.
Think foodwise they do traditionel pub menu, but we didnīt have anything..

A fairly ordinary place, but nice enough, in one of the main pedestrian shopping streets. The beer selection is limited, with just three fairly commonplace casks. Itís long and narrow, with a sort of library area at the front, the bar in the middle and a restaurant area at the back where they serve food until 6.30pm. Most of the customers when we were there seemed to be shoppers so its main function Ė feeding and watering people after a hard day spending money - probably hasnít changed much since it housed Walkerís Grill in the early twentieth century.
