Large place in the old center of Tallinn. Bavarian style interior, with large wooden tables. Hoempa hoempa music on the background, medium service. Their 7 beers are ok but not top. (20 euro for the sampler) Atmosphere not the best on a Wednesday evening. Not tried the food. Ok to visit if you’re looking for some home brewed beers, otherwise there are better places in Tallinn to visit.

Visited in 2009 while on a cruise with my family. The beers where not much to write home about. Felt like a touristy place. We only had a couple of their beers and then moved on.

Beer House is a brewpub in the style of a Bavarian bierkeller, coming with the full range of German lagers, from helles and pilsner to märzen, with the odd honey beer thrown in for good measure. True to style, the male waiters dress in lederhosen and the firm busted waitresses in low-cut Bavarian dresses. So, yes, this is a tourist trap and has little to do with Estonian culture, but it’s still worth a visit. If not for the show, then surely for the hearty portions of Bavarian-style food (I had an excellent pork knuckle with sauerkraut) and the 7 beer degustatsioon for just €20. Though not all seven beers impressed me, some of them - such as the Vana Viini vienna lager - showed that the female brewmaster Eve Toomela knows what she’s doing. Visited on 2013-06-30.

Touristy German-style bierhalel/brew-restaurant in the middle of the old town. Big place, with almost embarrasingly kitschy interior. Food ok, but not very special. Their beers are made in a bavarian style, and they offer a sampler (which is a challange to finish alone) of their brews. I wouldn’t say the beers are that tasty, and are all quite similar, but still, the place is worth a visit. The service is often slow, and you might even get ’forgotten’ in some corners (the place is big). And after eating / drinking elsewhere in Tallinn, you’ll be surprised at what they charge.

Beer house is a vast Bavarian style brewpub located close to the central square of the old town. Although I’m quite fond of Bavarian style restaurants, this place is decorated to the point that it is kitschy. This, combined with the soap-like aftertaste of the Märzen I ordered, caused me to leave the place right after finishing the first beer.

I have always thought that this place is German style, but here you are Austrian style. Not that’s gonna change anything. Bleak place. Massive hall filled with rough wooden chairs and tables. Umpa-umpa folk songs are playing on speakers (seems that they got only 1 record so it goes on and on). Beer is above average, so worth to visit.
PS. Headbrewer is a woman (which is not very/or at all) traditional for Estonia.

Quite nice interior. Touristy place but the beer was decent enough and the service was quite okay. A bit touristy and impersonal, but still worth a visit.

We only had a day in Talinn on our cruise, and we ate lunch here. Was surprised they had 1L beers, awesome! Tasted pretty good too, as I recall. Yeah, it’s touristy and kitchy, but go with it and you’ll have fun. Actually the Estonians have deep ties to Germany, so it’s more authentic than people think. Service very good, prices reasonable.
