First time I’ve been here and I would say I was quite impressed by the place. I went for watching football, and I gotta say it’s a very decent place for such an activity. It’s a large place in the style of a British pub with loads of seats and a couple of shuffle boards. The clientele was heavily dominated by what I assume was employees from the local fat cat businesses as well as "rich kids" from the western parts of town. It was evened out a little closer to kick off. I think they had around 20 beers on tap, including 4-5 pretty standard ones you will find in most places in Oslo these days. But they had some very interesting stuff going at the other taps, eg. Svaneke’s Den Udødelige Hest and two-three from Sundbytunet at Jessheim. The last one was a nice surprise since I’ve been meaning to take a trip for a while. On the minus side: The service was a bit slow due to too few bartenders, and the prices are very high even by Norwegian standards. 80,- for the common lager (0,5 l) is at around 15-25,- more than you would expect from any place in Oslo. I might return for football, but will probably stay away due to the price level, unless they’ve got something very exciting on tap.

Opened up after renovations in November 2012 with more beers on tap, around 20, but about half of that are industrial beers. Not all the changes have been for the better, the upstairs bar makes it hard to pass from the 1st to 2nd floor on crowded nights and I’m not too fond of the large shuffle boards that have been placed upstairs. But if you visit on a weekday you can choose from a handfull of good craft beers from draft, so it’s worth a visit if you find yourself at Aker Brygge.

El bar está bastante bien, tiene diana gratuita, cómodos sofás, la decoración es genial con infinidad de latas y botellas de todo el mundo y tienen bastantes cervezas noruegas y belgas. Lo malo son los precios, totalmente prohibitivos para un español (imagino que con no ser noruego basta) del orden de 11€ una pinta de la pale larger más barata. El servicio tampoco es que fuera genial.

It’s been around for quite a few years in the Aker Brygge. Was always an OK place to hang out despite the shortage of draft beers. There’s a half reasonable selection of bottled ales though. I don’t think this place has kept up with the times. There are now much better places to enjoy a beer in the city.

In tourist/business area of town with a good selection for this area. Allways something interesting

Good selection of bottles, the bar downstairs has some on tab. A bit expensive, and often crowded. This is a popular spot for grabbing a beer after work, so a lot of business people. You can get pizza delivered to the table from next door pizza place.

The place seems a little bit overcroudet so you dont get the same service level as you should. A little high prices. But a big selection of beers

hyggelig og koselig sted på Aker brygge nær Oslo sentrum - mye god øl (og stive priser)

Located on Aker brygge, a nice bar to have a beer or two, if you can live with the high pricing. Most of the beers are classics from all over the world, but you can also stumble upon some modern classics, when i visited they had the brand new " Holy Smoke" from Nøgne Ø on tap, a pleasant surprise.

Ok place, but expensive !
