I donít mind this place. The selection is good and the prices are sometimes a little bit better than the other city centre shops. They had lots of De La Senne stuff that I havenít found anywhere else. Yeah, other places are cheaper, but if you are short of time and are in the centre itís a good place to go.
Visited here September 2016. Just around the corner from Delirium bar. Pretty good selection of Belgian beers covering a broad range of styles. Some prices were decent. I picked up a BA Struisse for around Ä4. Some prices were nuts. Hommage was Ä125! I was wondering who might pay that, when a bunch of youngish, tourist types walked in and got giddy when they spotted the Cantillon that were in stock. Anyway, worth a visit if in the area.
Visted in May 2015. Located in the touristy part of town. Lots of interesting Belgian and european beers available with a nice glass selection toward the back of the shop. Like other reviews have mentioned, you are pretty much on your own in here. No customer service, but I didnt really mind anyway. I can peruse a shop by myself. I didnt notice prices being exorbitantly high, so maybe the shop has changed in that way? Maybe the inflated tourist shop prices had desensitized me by the time I got here. Who knows. Either way, it was an alright shop.
Nice laid out place. good selection of Belgians and some other Scandinavian. The guy has no interest in any service for the customer, only to take the money. I have picked up a Black Damnation series here and i think some De Cam, the selection is good, with Hommage being displayed if you ant to spend 120 Euros
