This is a fun place to dock your boat and grab a beer. The fact that you can do that is cool. The fun stops there, though. If not traveling via boat I canít think of any reason to stop by this place. In fact, Iíd rather have docked the boat and gone to the Hooters next door. The place doesnít have a great ambiance. Feels chintzy, kind of dark, loud, lots of drunk people around, one of those types of places. Easy to get a 4 top table though, with a decent view of the river. Wide selection of taps, but the beers are served in plastic cups and the bartenders have no clue what they are serving. I noticed a Rogue XS handle, so I asked the bartender which one in that series it was. They had no idea. I asked what color it was, and they couldnít even tell me that. The beer ended up being flat and awful when I got it, had probably been sitting in the line for months. My buddy ordered a Bellís Smitten and was served some awful-tasting brown beer. Some specials like out-of-season Pumking for $3.75 offered, but that doesnít seem like a great deal if itís as bad as the other beers were. I have to applaud the effort of having a wide selection of beers on tap, but if my experience was typical, this is a disservice to craft.

This is a beat up, old dive bar with a gorgeous view of the river. There is a jukebox and foosball, so Iím happy enough. We were here on a Monday night and there were a total of 10 patrons milling around. The beer selection is very solid. I had some Breakfast stout and Two Hearted. the Two Hearted even tasted clean and fresh, to my surprise. I had a pizza which had really good crust and plenty of toppings. Iíd come back here, especially for a late night hang out.

These guys have a remarkable on-tap selection plus a good bottle selection. As an "old guy," the noise level was very off-putting. I like conversation with my beer, something that wasnít practical here. Too bad, because Iíd like to try all the beers.

This place has so much potential... Unfulfilled potential. They have a TON of beers on tap, but never really have anything special...ever. And most importantly, THEY DONíT CLEAN THEIR LINES!!! Service is okay, but most employees donít know anything about beer. What a bummer!

This place is similiar in style to the one in Indy. Open, kind of sport bar style with lots of beers on tap. Service is questionable; very dependent on who waits on you. Beer quality is also questionable; sometimes you can get a bad beer, whether from the tap or in bottle. Better beer management is needed.

Love going to this place when the night begins. I always try a new beer everytime I go. If youíre visiting the Cincinnati area... Defenitely a place you have to visit.

I really like this place. Tons of beers on tap and bottles. Atmosphere is great with a live band. Sits right on the river overlooking Cincinnati. Has an outdoor patio with a hooter right next door. Caught a ferry back from the reds game. Definitely a place you should try out.

I had a decent experience here. The bartender was this hot blonde who was really talkative/slutty, which i guess helped my situation. The taps look really nice, but i can see that some people have had really infected beers, probably because they dont rotate that often. however, i had Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgearld and it was fantastic! I love that beer! I would go back again if i was ever in the Cinci area.

Iíve been to this place twice. One time I was with friends and we had a grand old time while drinking cheap beer and getting down to some cover band playing old classics along with the other folks who danced the night away. That being said, DO NOT drink any decent beers here. The wall looks great lined with taps, but no one drinks anything besides macro lagers which leaves the good beers sitting and sitting and sitting. Iíve never tasted a more disgustingly oxidized and way past due beer. I took back two (different) beers in a row and choked down the third. The bartender, while nice, knew exactly what was going on with the stale oxidized beer and said they needed to change it and that the guy I ordered it from should have stopped me from getting it. Listen, if you are going to offer a ton of beers, make sure youíre moving them and not serving them to pour saps who come in ready to taste a good selection of quality beer.

Came here the first time I ever crossed the river to go out in Newport, and walked in to see a guy punch another guy in the back of the head, run off, and the punchee get arrested- sort of a "Welcome to Kentucky" moment. It sort of fit with the barís atmosphere- sloppy, despite any ambitions. It is, after all, a floating bar next to Hooterís. There are a ton of taps but seldom anything surprising or great. Had food once as part of a party and it was terrible. Seeing Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA was a treat, and OTR is always nice, but I have to wonder how often these probably very long beer lines get cleaned.
