Not a big selection to choose from, but the beers there are good. SOme rare stuff here too. Can be a bit pricey, but where else are you going to go to get this stuff on tap?

Now this is the first place of its kind that I have come across, altho Ithere may be more like it on the way. Because (as one online reviewer said) here they treat beer like wine. Upon seeing the simple wooden tables and modest lighting, you might think you walked into a high end sake bar and not a beer joint. The employees were friendly and helpful, even if they did seem just a little snobbish. The menu is limited, but interesting - I had some pickled pumpkin that was pretty cool. The beer selection was not big but it was very interesting, with a bunch of European beers that I had never heard of before being poured - and here is the rub - being poured for as much as $12 or so for an 8-12 ounce glass. Ouch. Still it is worth an occasional visit. Bring a date here and impress her with your good taste. Or maybe someday when every city has a few places like it, you can say you went to the first one.

number (about 6 to 8 lines) but you are almost guaranteed to find a few unusual items. Bottle selection is where things get really interesting and also really pricey. They get a varied selection of fancy bottles. I’ve been there twice in the past few years and I’ve seen fancy imports, BFM single barrels, the ultra-pricey Baladin Xyauyù, Captain Lawrence Rosso e Marrone , and so on and so on… But what’s cool is that they sell beers by the glass. Every night a selection of their pricey bottles are available by the glass. Still not cheap but a lot cheaper than buying the whole bottle. They also have more affordable beers so after a few pricey sours I played safe and bought a bottle of Green Flash West Coast IPA for $5. Food is more like really fancy snacks. As as for the service, well, it might just be the best service I’ve ever had. It seems to be a brother and sister operation and they are both super friendly and they really want your visit to be memorable. This is definitely a place I will go back to.

Stopped in here while visiting NYC. We ordered a few small plates (2 cheese plates, the walnuts & the beef jerky) all of which were really good. Only had a couple of beers, but chatted with the owner for a bit while we were there. Awesome spot. I will be back for sure.

Beer table...is not like any beer place I’ve been so it’s hard to compare. It’s an amazing concept restaurant with everything that is great about Brooklyn represented from ingredients, menu, and style. It’s tiny...not a bar but a place to have a meal with a reservation or snacks at an off hour with one of the most obscure and carefully curated beer list I’ve ever read through. The owners are visionaries and the staff pro. A few caveats...they may not have a vegetarian option and the prices for beer are at the high end of the high end in NYC. It’s well worth it though at least as an occasion.

Small but cozy place in Park Slope. 8 taps. Nice ones. And some European ones on bottles. Food seems to be good. Not very cheap. I will be back soon.

What’s on tap is generally pretty rare and always tasty. Filling up your growler here is definitely the cost effective way to go. Also, should be stated: the plates are small here, but the kitchen is top notch. Brunch at this joint is pretty epic; basically, until Talde came in to the neighborhood, there was nowhere you could have brunch and a bottle of Hitachino Nest. Pretty sweet.

Très cozy, une superbe sélection avec de la qualité et pas du nombre, des prix un peu élevé par rapport aux autres bars.

They are now up to 8 taps. Very popular, so turnover of taps is very frequent meaning the quality of their drafts are excellent. Very cozy confines means that it can be difficult to snag a seat, but the staff will help you out with finding a spot to squeeze you in. Didn’t have food here, but it smelled and looked great. Very helpful and well versed staff. Bottle list is well chosen and outstanding. A must hit in South Slope.
