The tap list is quite varied with beers from all over Europe and the US. Bottle list is mostly focused on the US with some European choices like Brewdog, Mikkeller, and Evil Twin. Prices are a bit on the high side and Iím not totally sold on the maintenance of their tap lines.

Modern beer bar with a focus on American and Scandi craft brews. Enthusiastic staff and nice for a beer when itís quiet, otherwise itís too loud on busier nights and very pricey.

This is the sister bar of Ďt Arendsnest and it concentrates mainly on American beers, although there are several others, notably from Scandinavia such as Mikkeller and Nogne O, and Brew Dog from Scotland.
Itís on a busy central street, with a small seating area outside, and is more basic in dťcor than Ďt Arendsnest Ė think working manís club rather than high society tea room - although the staff are equally welcoming and professionally knowledgeable. Like many Amsterdam bars in old buildings, it has a short frontage and is long and narrow inside. There are high top tables and a huge, long board listing the very extensive range of (sometimes slightly pricey) beers by state in the case of the USA and by country for others.
(Last visited 29 September 2013).

Super bar. Huge draft selection with breweries from all around the world represented. Big bottle list as well with lots of hard-to-find options. Very decent prices, friendly service. An Amsterdam highlight for sure.

Visited here Oct 09. Dropped into this place on a midweek early/mid afternoon, it was fairly quiet only one or two others. Barman was very friendly and helpfully suggested different beers. We went for a couple of the house beers, and as I recall I did have an American beer (forgot which one) Prices are a little steep especially for some of the bigger bottles but then when I discussed this it would appear that there really wasnít a lot of diffecence between what you would pay here and what you might pay in one of the specialist beer shops, so what do I know and besides they are likely to be shared amongst a small group. I enjoyed this bar and think it will quite soon become a well established place to drop into on the Amsterdam pub/bar circuit.
Visited here on a few more occasions since my first visit. The beer list really is top notch and whilst it is pricey if you stuck to the taps you can drink for a reasonable price. We (me & my dad) visited twice over w/e 9,10 March 2013 and had some great beers.

Quite incredible selection of US brews in Europe. 32 taps. Not that crowded on Thursday night. Quite expensive as you can imagine. Great place to have an American treat.

Visited september 2013, and I really wondered why I havenīt been here before. Very cosy relaxing place ( on a sunday late afternoon ) but can imagine that it other times can be very crowded. Placed in a pleasant walking distance from the station, easy to get to. Great beer selection, both on tap and bottles, and even more local ones than expected. Beers served in good condtion, friendly and serviceminded staff and lovely company :-) All in all a great place to end a lovely, long beery weekend..

Same ownership as Arendsnest. More modern feel. Big beer list Ė 30 on tap and just short of 100 in bottle but itís all US or US-styled (that basically means Scandinavian and BrewDog). However, the beers are pretty much the ones that are in circulation all round Europe, so no great rarities for anyone who has had a lot of US beers Ė just 2 new ones for me. However, I did feel the need for a hop fix from time to time during my week stay, so dropped in on a few occasions. Nevers eemed very busy. Not cheap. Staff are enthusiastic and friendly. Quite difficult to give a score because, whilst itís undoubtedly a very good bar, itís not really what I come to Amsterdam for.

Nice place around the corner from Bierkonig. Not too loud music, beer pictures (mostly american breweries) on the walls. While considering what to try bartender brought me a sample of Flying Dog Raging Bitch Belgian-style India Pale Ale which was very good, so for the beginning I decided to order it. Some 20 tap beers with reasonable prices, but also few big bottled Americans that are quite expensive (for Croatian standard, but also reasonable if we know where they came from). All in all highly recomended place.

This place had a very American vibe to it. Service was fine, but you have to go up to the bar to order. Crazy selection of beers from all over the world, American stuff that is hard to get in America. So many draft beers and a killer bottle list. Prices were kind of high but there were some values to be had. Funny though, they had Dark Lord for 100 euro for a bottle. This is a cool place, the selection of beer is amazing.
