Very nice modern place in a good central location in Amsterdam. Very good selection of mostly American beers. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Excellent beer bar run by a beer geek for other beer geeks. Centrally located fairly close to both In De Wildeman and Arendsnest. Run by beer guru Peter van der Arend, who also runs Arendsnest. Modern bar, not very big with a small seating area outside on the street. Around 30 taps with beers mainly from the Netherlands, US, Belgium and anything else of excellent quality. Extensive list of bottled beers as well. Very friendly and knowledgebale staff. When abroad, I usually try to find a place with a large selection of local beers and in that case Arendsnest is probably a better choice, but if I was Dutch and wanted to try something foreign and very good, this should be the place to go to. And I will drop by as well, on the way to and from Arendsnest. A must visit in Amsterdam.

I love this bar. 30 beers on tap. Amazing range of US imports Iíve not even seen in other bars and beer shops so massive shout out to their beer buyers, what a team.
The bar itself is very modern, the Americana is preached and flaunted to the fullest extent, beer prices are very reasonable considering that they were the same to beer shops which Iíve seen in the Netherlands.
Music is amazing. First class sound track and a very attentive barman. Requested to hear some Howliní Wolf and he played it. The electronic jukebox behind the bar is AWESOME.
Go and judge for yourselves. This is a 5 star bar and something which should be used as a blueprint.

Been here twice in the recent month. They have an excellent selection, the guys behind the bar know their stuff and can humour a burgeoning beer geek like myself.

Heaven on earth, a bar dedicated to American craft beer. Some criticems may be that the original concept is sort of lost because of trade: some Belgian and EU beers are on tap too. Great hangout though for some serious beer business.

only been here twice. One just after it was open and once for a beer tasting where one of the Brewdog brewers was there. I love this bar! Pity itís not in the Hague but itís a lot closer then the US ;-) Iím a big fan of American beers and have travelled to the US several times. They have a very good selection of beers from around the world. Only the best beers get into this bar!

Sweet jeebus this is a holyland of beer. A fantastic selection of American craft.. better then a lot of places i have been in the USA itself. This is a premium must visit if you are in the area. Its very close to the city center (redlight, train station, etc) but its not a "tourist place" it feels like a local.

This pub got a bit harsh judgement from me. It is difficult to say is the place worth to visit or not. Place either too full or so empty you feel alone. Beers are íexoticí because the pub is specialized to US small breweries, but they are mostly the same. And I do not like furniture, it makes me feel Iím in diner waiting for Fonzie.
