This is the best place for American beers in Amsterdam, or even whole Europe. Great selection, great service. Must visit.

HUGE selection of amazing american beers. Cool for locals, but less for tourists wanting to explore dutch beers. Nevertheless, the owners and waiters know their stuff. Nice service and ambiance. Cool.

American style pub with great music and nice staff. A great selection of beers. A lot of stronger tasting beers like some nice Double IPAs and Imperial Stout. Pricing is okay for most beer, but i wouldn’t pay 200 euro for a 2009 dark lord bottle. I haven’t tried their food.
I’ve had a nice experience in this pub!

The bar that introduced me to the Yeti. For that i’ll always be grateful to them. Beer Temple is a great alternative for the typical bars in Amsterdam where the selection is mainly European beers. Beer Temple offers a great selection from an interesting beer country, what makes every visit a pleasant and supriseful one.

Brand new world to explore two steps away from Dam Platz. Trendy breweries, some of them very difficult to find on tap outside this bar.

Very good beer pub that specializes in American beer. The staff is well-informed. It is owned by the founder of ’t Arendsnest: both pubs prove that he certainly knows how to find good staff. The ambiance is great, you will easily meet people on the bar and if you want to relax whitout chitchat you can find a seat in the back. The food is American, which fits in the theme, but actually there is nothing wrong with Dutch pub food (bitterballen, real Gouda, ossenworst...), so that could be better.
