Great selection both tap and bottles with some hard to get barrel aged. Lots of Euro and North American beers. Knowledgeable and friendly barkeep.

We went on a Sunday afternoon, so it was quiet and there was still plenty of room left to sit. Good location near city center and just a stone throw away from Bierkoning. Beautiful place. Super friendly and knowledgeable service. Pretty good selection of European/USA beers on tap (30 taps) including a bunch of Mikkeller, Hoppin’ Frog, Anchor, Rogue Thornbridge and many others. A good amount of nice bottles are also available there. Price are a reasonable considering the quality of the beers offered. It’s possible to order small quantity (125 ml) so that’s quite interesting too. Very nice beer bar that I would recommend to anybody who come in this area.

Dark, dimly lit with gaudy black and red decor. Amazing selection of beer. Satisfactory prices and service. Horrible toilets up a spiral staircase. Not a very nice place but amazing choice of beer. Close to beer store round the corner.

Good - Trendy place, excellent beer selection.
Not so good - thimble-sized servings with a heavy mark-up.

Great beer bar, I think the best in Amsterdam. You can find an enormous variety of beers from all around the world on tap.

I’d heard so much about this bar but when I finally visited I didn’t find what I expected. Not so american beers, both bottles and taps and the price for most of the bottles were too high. However, 2-3 dishes we tried were weird but good. Despite all of the above I would definetely go back!

Supposed to be an American Bar - OK quite a good selection as far as bottles go - though still only a far cry from the best American breweries/according to Rafebeer/. 30 taps on the bar leave a much less favourable impression - no IPA / yes , there were IIPAs from Europe/ during my four visits on consecutive days, and generally only a few beers from US, - and the most serious flaw - one cooler for 30 /THIRTY/ taps , which means they serve pilsner at the same temperature as barley wine. The barman defended this incredible idea /considering how much they charge for the beer - their prices are the highest in Europe except Norway/ by saying it was very expensive to have , say, 5 coolers ,and they could not afford it. Ridiculous, I think. Still, the only place to try the beers from US you haven’t had a chance to sample in your place.
