Decent pub in tourist area of the city. Tried a couple of draft beers - Yaki from Solo and Red Rhapsody from Odyssey, both of which were pretty good. Taps were mostly Greek micros, didnít look at the bottle selection. Service was good and people were friendly, was given a free shot of house schnaps. Didnít try the food, other than the free popcorn. Worth a visit.
Nice selection of Greek beers, really liked that one from Chania - Crete which comes only in draft. no way to find it in bottle. Food is ok I guess.. nothing special but not bad either.
Some effort have been spent in the thematic decoration of the place, and this is a nice touch in an otherwise "busy" environment.
For Athens I think this is a great first place. The beer flight (15Ä) off tap is great for an introduction to Greek beer. Donít think many others offer this. Not sure how much it changes. Shame Paulaner is one of them. In winter it still feels welcoming. Seems a bit on the expensive side for Greece. Bottle selection for tourists is excellent. A lot of Greek micros. International is quite limited. Didnít have food but seems to be standard burger stuff. Music was indie rock, I was happy with it. Closed on Mondays.
Finally I managed to visit Beertime after being many weekends in Athens! I wasnít able to visit it the previous times because of the time they open (after 5 or 6 pm). Itís a very nice beer restaurant on a small square at the center of the city (close to Monastiraki metro station). It was Friday evening, the ground floor was almost empty but we found the last table for two persons at the loft having a good view to the bar and the street. There is also a room with tables in the basement and there many tables also outside at the square. Very nice ambiance and good music (Rock). Service was good and fast since the place was not to crowded. 5 beers on taps and many bottles mostly from Greek breweries (almost from all micro ones). They serve also a taster (5 beers of 200 ml each for 15 euros). Prices were OK for the Greek beers, a little bit high for the foreign ones. We didnt try the food but I have heard good things about their food. I will visit it again if I am in the area.

They have a varied selection of different European countries and a lot of Greek microís. Ratings (from RateBeer) are on the menu. The foreign beers are quite pricy though. The service is good: kind and knowledgeable. The place is nicely decorated, but not the best tasting environment: loud music and a loud (party) crowd. OK place to drink some beers, but not very special.
If you want to enjoy Greek craft beer in Athens then Beer Time is where you need to go. Prices are very reasonable for the drafts as they all cost between 4.40 and 5.50 for 33cl. Combine this with their buy one get one happy hour deal from 6-8pm and you could quickly try all five of their Greek draft beers. The service was exceptional and a pleasant departure from the generally laid back and aloof service I receive so often in Europe. The food was also quite tasty and made a good addition to my time their. The bottle list helps to fill in the gaps of the whoís who of Greek craft beer. I donít think Athens will be on too many peopleís beer vacation radar, but if you happen to go donít miss out on the opportunity to go to Beer Time.
This is not a brewpub. However they do serve a good selection of Greek micros + all the common stuff. Considering the sad fact, that there is no proper brewpub in Athens, this is definitely the best place to go for beer lover in this city.
