First visit to this new venture so a cautious rating so far, but the basics look ok. The Marston’s beers are not the draw here but the extensive range of bottled beers are. There are UK, Belgian, German, USA and worldwide beers available. Didn’t get to study the list too much, but I did see a few interesting beers, hopefully it will get more adventurous as it develops. Didn’t like the fact that they poured the beer before I got the chance to do it myself, I’ll insist next time. Early doors and Banbury seems a strange place for this type of adventure, but I really hope it works for them.
Update Feb ’13. Unfortunately Banbury did prove to be too much of a challenge for this type of establishment, just not the call for it. They have similar pubs in Henley and Wycombe which are both doing well.
