Very small bottle shop tucked away on King St near door to Pele’s Wood Fire Pizza as you walk north from Pele’s towards Kickback’s, Dahlia’s, Rogue/Loft/Independent. Open air getting a bit hot inside the shop for beer. A decent selection in six packs and singles refrigerated and unrefrigerated. Good selection of local Bold City stuff and Intuition, though now you can find the Inutition cans all over Jacksonville. Fun to stop in to browse but I didn’t see anything of interest compared to Grassroots a couple of miles away. Wasn’t very crowded when I was there.

If you drive in from Riverside Ave its easier to find its on the right side of the street. The owner is very nice for the few minutes we shopped. I hope the place will stay in biz, but from looking at the pictures of the beers before we went and looking at the empty shelves makes one wonder if they be in biz for long??? Selection is not as good as grassroots. I love the idea of a craft store, it works in Orlando but they are also a real liquor store, and this place is too small to do that. Prices were a tad high but its Riverside. I sort of expect that.

Small shop, but no wasted space. Seems likes all of the local and state beers are up front. This isn’t at the level of Hop City in Atlanta, but it is definitely a good stop for beer in Jacksonville.
