I was very impressed by the Beer Bistro. It is a very classy place, with a very comfortable bar area and an inviting dining room. We sat at a table in the main room. Fairly extensive tap and bottle list , with an extra cellar beer menu. Prices were not cheap, but not out of line with the quality of the space. All the food sampled at our table was very good, I especially enjoyed the Kobe beef tacos and the mussels , but everything looked great and my party was very satisfied with their food and beers. Definitely worth a visit or three.

A nice, cozy bistro in downtown Toronto. It is a hopping lunch spot - we arrived around 12:00 on a Wednesday afternoon and the place was fairly empty - within 20 minutes it was completely packed with business people having lunch. There is a small bar area, with seats facing the sidewalk outside, and a dining area. The tap list includes local beers with a decent selection. The food is excellent, on the pricier side though. I got the BBQ chicken pizza and it was excellent. I could imagine myself spending the day here drinking beer and watching the street traffic. Great spot!

Highly recommended on RB and sites like TripAdvisor as well. Food is excellent and is a slightly more upscale take on food than other local beer places. TRY THE PULLED PORK. Tap list is a good mix of locals and imports, they have added some hard to find stuff to the bottle list but they don’t always arrive in large quantities. Prices are slightly above average for Toronto, but the old adage about getting what you pay for holds true. Well worth it, but more of a rare treat for those on a budget. Service is generally excellent. Can be a bit noisy when busy.

I visited here three times during my TO trip. Great layout, great tap selection, even better bottle selection with a surprising "reserve" cellar list as well. Excellent service. I had two dinner meals on two separate visits. The first was excellent, the second was just okay. Having said that, I would still very highly recommend this place.

I’ve been here several times during my trip in Toronto. They have a spectacular selection from all over the world and the food is simply perfect! I really recommend it.

Top spot on International level. Extensive bottle beer list with very rare stuff to buy (at price). Food is very good if not superb. It get bit loud due to design of this place. Plenty of corporate folks go there as its trendy spot for law/banking folks. Staff is very knowledgeable about beer. Must visit when in town.

Great food and beer selection downtown.

Always end up here at the end of a night out with the guys. It can be a little crowded in the bar area but has an excellent beer selection and my experience with the staff has always been that they are friendly and knowledgable. The restaurant is also a regular destination for our family because the food is good too.

Belle sélection dans tous les styles, incluant les sour. Quelques bouteilles intéressantes mais hors de prix comme la utopias. Le menu offre la bouffe de pub et des assiettes un peu plus complète avec des propositions d’agencement bières/mets. Un peu trop aristo-pub pour moi, sinon excellente adresse.

Visited twice within a short period of time, weekend brunch and weekday lunch, both for meals and beers. Adequate service, very tasty food and reasonably priced, and great draught selection. If you’re looking for a dark and moody pub, this isn’t it.
