In the space where OiPolloi used to be a few years back, nice place. Some beers seemed quite expensive but ace selection.

Any beer shop has good ambiance, this one is no exception. Great service and help in finding some beers from missing counties, great. Took the beers to my hotel and tasted/rated. Worthwile a detour.

Easily one of the best beer shopping experiences in the UK. A very small shop but incredibly well-thought and laid out. It has everything from specialist US imports such as Alesmith and Pipeworks to big bottles of De Struise and De Molen as well as seasonal offerings from De Dolle and St Bernadus.
The prices were pretty damn good too and apart from a couple of picky items I thought were a bit too high it was generally excellent for price.
The range was great and I was very happy to see beers in stock which I thought I had missed. Many thanks for stocking Ashover and local brewery Quantum BC. Great range of sours as well. I’ll be back.

Visited September 2013. Good selection of English, continental and some American bottles. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Would love to visit there again.

Wonderful selection of local and international brews. Not too many beers, but all they sell is just good quality. Downstairs has a small tasting room as well. Great dudes running the shop. Would love to have one like this around the corner.

Great little sanctuary from the ’Little Williamsburg’ that is the Northern Quarter. Massively varied selection with a lot of unique, hard-to-find beers from smaller EU brewers, actually reminds me of an indie record shop in that regard.
The owners are friendly but aren’t particularly talkative so don’t expect a massive geeky natter. No cider unfortunately. Prices are mixed.. some cheap, some eye-wateringly expensive. In all, this is a must-visit on your trip to Manchester and a great place to find all those Northern beers that tend to elude the London bottle shops. Open fairly late too.

Fantastic selection with many beers available from the likes of Buxton, Magic Rock, Thornbridge, Wild Beer Co and the London breweries. US and Euro imports also. A good range of sours, Saisons and IPA’s. Friendly chaps working here that suggested other things happening around town. Recommended.

Nice beer shop in central Manchester. Tasteful interior design and layout. The choice is excellent, nice mix of British, American, Belgian and diverse international brews. Prices are generally fair, I was expecting worse, you can pick some top bottles up for £3-4, with some more expensive offerings present as well. Highly recommended

Choices are great with an emphasis on rarer beers not usually found in the area.
Plenty of rarer american ones and london ones.
Prices come with a city centre premium but the choice and service are excellent.

It’s a fantastic place to buy beer, with great advice and excellent service. It is slightly more expensive, than some other beer shops in Greater Manchester (not Selfridges though) but it has beers you simply can not buy elsewhere and is in a convenient city center location.
In simple terms I have tried more interesting and high quality beers because of Beermoth than any other shop.

The beers they sell are superb, impossible for a beern00b to buy crap. The setup/design of the store is beautiful. Beers are easy too find. Staff knows all their beers. Occasionally they have interesting tastings downstairs.
