3rd day open. Great atmosphere - light fixtures made from Mill St. kegs are very cool. 4 rotating seasonal taps, plus a bunch of year-round ones. Proper glassware for all beers on tap, available to purchase for $5, which seems pretty reasonable (I picked up a couple Delirium Tremens glasses). Great service, even though it seemed pretty busy. Although when I ordered a Amsterdam Framboise, I was disappointed to find out they currently had none... I seriously doubt they sold out in the first 3 days. 3 tables have self-serve taps on them, which is pretty insane. Definitely the best selection of beer Iíve seen in K-W/Cambridge, but I canít help but be a little disappointed in it as well. A few great craft offerings, and a bunch more mediocre craft/macro beers, with a huge emphasis on Ontario breweries. With the exception of a small handful of beers, all the beers here are readily available at the LCBO or Beer Store. I wouldíve loved to see other offerings that are harder to find; this would definitely make me come in more. Food is reasonably priced, and quite good; the quality I expected from the Charcoal group of restaurants, but at a lower-than-expected price. Still looking forward to the Waterloo location, which will be in a nicer neighbourhood, and more convenient for me. Glad to have places like this in the Waterloo region!

an expensive place to drink some alcohol you can easily purchase just down the street at the LCBO. good service but nothing to inspire me to return.

Just opened. I was reasonably impressed. Is the best beer spot in the area easily, even though the draft and bottle list is primarily not real craft beer. There are some solid options, some Flying Monkeys, Mill St, Muskoka and one from Grand River bottle only. Lots of Sleeman and Molson affiliated euro beers. Food looks pretty promising, Charcoal Group always has good food. Wouldnít mind a deeper menu, as I think I will become a fairly regular patron. Iím told all of the taps are paid for, so itís unlikely to see more real craft here than is already there...
