Located right next to teh Mannekken Pis. A toursity place with a substantial selection, but also with prices over the top. Check it out, see what you like and buy it somewhere else.

Very fancy, well lit and well cured store, which screams total tourist trap considering its emplacement, near manneken pis between 4 or 5 fancy chain chocolate stores. Selection includes the usual suspects, at high prices. completely useless to visit.

There are a few of these shops around the main tourist district, this one being fairly close to Mannekin Pis. The selection is pretty standard Belgian beers and quite high prices, especially for Westvletern 12, a full 6 Euro higher than most.

Bottle shop just over the street from Manneken Pis statue. About 200 standard belgium beer, but at absurd prices. Some of the beers i picked up in other places earlier on the tour have a 100% markup here. Totally a tourist trap

Visited October 2012.
This is in the same intersection as the Manneken Pis statue kitty corner from Le Poechenellekelder so you get two place ticks, some good beer, some good chocolate, and to see the tourists swarming the statue all in one intersection. What could possibly be wrong with that? Well the prices for one. This is a touristy gift shop, not really a high end bottle shop. I guess it’s good that your local schmuck can grab a bottle of Cantillon gueuze not knowing what it is but they’ll do it at 50% more than you could get it for at the brewery and also not climate controlled. I won’t hate on the place as much as the previous raters since I think it’s great that some better beer is presented to travelers that may not know anything about it but I certainly won’t be shopping here. You can also get trinkets, chocolates, and glasses here if you need a quick gift for someone.

This is a tourist trap, I think that most beer geeks will avoid places like that. Prices are high, little interesting stuff to be found here, you know the drill. Yes there is some loon’s & whatever here but I think most beer geeks will just swing by Cantillon or a finer establishment. I think people in general are more than acquainted with this kinds of places and what they represent.

Totally pointless to be entered on RB. Big touristy chain overpriced at best. All the stores are ideally located in main tourist spots with big names having the best deal.
Expect nothing good especially from a store located next to Manneken Pis, that whole street is a trap. Priority is to sell, and not to advise you on beer or make recommendations.

Located next to the Manneken Pis, their awning advertises 250+ beers available. They do have quite a decent selection, including some Cantillon lambics as well as some other good/interesting beers as well as the typical stuff and some pretty awful beers. Although they have a good selection, the pricing here is through the roof. Obviously taking advantage of the tourist crowd who are visiting the Grote Markt and Manneken Pis. Not the first choice for bottles in the city, but it is an option. There’s also a chocolate shop adjoining if you’re in the need of some sugar.
