Great selection, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Beers kept in cold, dark environment. This is a beer Mecca, and I make a pilgrimage every time I visit Portland. Some beers are of the archival variety. Be sure to ask.

I have been to Portland only once, but from what I have heard this is THE place to buy beer in Portland. It sure seems that way - I went completely bugflip and spent more than $140 stocking up on brewskis to bring back to Atlanta, including extras to trade or share. Their beer selection is first-rate, and their service is outstanding. The fellows there were very happy to point me towards the best beers from Oregon, and help me load up my little olí Ford Focus with enough beer to get Godzilla making Virginia fence. I thought I would never give a place a perfect rating, but this one sure deserves it. This is a must whether you live in Portland, or pay a visit there!

Hands down, the best beer store Iíve ever been to. Impeccable, unbeatable (that Iíve seen) selection, with the best of the best of West Coast beers and an extremely impressive range of European beers (including a heap of Mikkeller, NÝgne ō, De Molen, and tons of Belgians). Staff are extremely helpful directing you to what you want and are very friendly. Prices are pretty much the best youíll find and there is of course no tax to be added to your bill after. Makes 99 Bottles / Bottleworks in WA pale in comparison. Do not miss this place when in Portland.

If they donít have it at Belmont Station, they donít have it in Oregon. Along with Horse Brass, Belmont Station is a big part of the Portland beer fabric. Knowledgable staff, cash discounts, enough beer to make you dizzy, and thatís before you start drinking! Perfect Beer Store!!

The prices are as good as anywhere in town. It is not on my end of town, but worth the drive. No beer is going to be light-struck here, they keep everything out of light. Johnís market has more beers, but they buy big lots and store under lights. I go online, call first and my orders ready when I get there. Everyone there knows beer except maybe the owner but she can pull it off.

This is probably the second best beer store Iíve ever seen (after that one in Buffalo, NY whose name Ive forgot and possibly after Circle Liquors in NJ). Half of their beers are in coolers and each beer has a tag on it so you can easily see who brews it and what its name is. VERY NICELY DONE! I was amazed how good the selection was. They asked me if I was on Ratebeer (no mention was made of BeerAdvocate). Prices seemed quite fair. They have a bar next door to the store.

My favorite beer place in PDX. Tied for the largest selection, combined with a nice atmosphere, great staff, and a biercafe in an adjoining room where you can consume pretty much anything in the store on premises. Given the selection in bottle, itís not exactly a weakness that it doesnít have much on draft for the best in that dept., see: Green Dragon.

An absolutely top-notch bottle shop. I was able to get beers that have been on my want-list for years (not being from the west coast). The attached bar has a great selection of beer, and is decorated with taps. Lower prices if paying with cash. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. What more could you want?

Just up the Street From Horse Brass Pub Bellmont station Offers an enormous selection of Craft & Import Beers. They frequently have many Rare and Hard to find beers as well as odd formats and sizes. Clearly a dedicated "Beer Nerd" store. The staff is very knowledgeable. I have spent a bit of time and money in this store and was happy to do so.
