Always seems to draw a good crowd so atmosphere is lively and a comfortable spot to grab an afternoon beer. Conveniently located along Sherbrooke and even more so when staying only a few blocks away! A dozen beers on tap but of the few I tried over a couple of visits I found the quality to be variable but generally decent. Small food menu with panini and hot dogs. Staff were friendly but usually just chatted amongst themselves.

First beer place visited in Montreal as it is open late and just a short walk from the hotel. Kind of dark, but lots of beers to try and a full bar to keep the better half happy. Pretty large as well.
They do full pours as well as tasters of everything. The beers seemed to range in price a little bit depending on what they were (in terms of taster pours, anyway). Food menu was limited, at least late at night. But they had a spicy sausage that was excellent.
The beer quality kind of bounced around depending on the offering. Kind of a mix of American and Belgian styles for the most part. But I thought they did decent enough beers overall. The higher gravity stuff tended to just be overly sweet, though.
Extremely friendly staff, though. And the guys behind the bar seemed to actually know about the beer.

I really the ambiance, especially if we can a banquette seating to watch a hockey game. Service if fine, they can give you some good piece of advice for your liking, selection of beer is great, they have some great beer. Food is ok. It’s a really nice place to go to drink good beer and watch hockey games.

Brewing excellent Belgian and American brews, Benelux is part of my top 10 in Montreal. Every beers they brew here are well made. Staff are knowledgeable, just friendly enough. Location is fine. Regular pub type food is found and is pretty tasty. Place is quite big and they show hockey game on big screens too.

A centrally located nice large dark wooden brewpub with a comfortable outdoor terrace. The overall atmosphere was more neighborhood bar than beer geek destination. That being said the beers were solid though a slight disclaimer, by the time I got here I was kind of out of it.

When I visited: May 2014.
What I had: Benelux SMASH Amarillo American Pale Ale, Congo Belgian IPA, and Sabotage American IPA on tap, Chicken Tex Mex Panini with chips and olives.
What I liked: Dark, bustling and cosmopolitan ambience, clearly visible chalkboard draught list, cozy bar, quick and pleasant service, tasty pub grub, beers ranged from average to good quality, love the focus on hop-forward and Belgian styles, reasonable prices.
What I disliked: Neither the beer nor the food blew me away, but this is still a very solid brewpub.
Would I go back? Yes.
