Visited on a monday night, so very quiet. Really good looking pub inside an old bank, lots of pretty comfy seating. They had a dozen or so of their own beers on tap, most of them quite nice, I would aim for the lagers if I go back, they seemed particularly tasty. They have a warm sandwich menu, panini’s and eurodogs. Prices are quite fair for Montreal standards. They have a really nice patio out back. I would have to visit again, but this definitely seems like a new must on the Montreal brewpub circuit

Visited July 7, 2013, in the afternoon. This is a somewhat a historical place because it is the first establishment in Verdun in 138 years where you can take a glass of alcohol without eating. But the city does not allow any alcohol other then beer, so your out of luck if you are with someone who wont or can’t drink beer, but it could change in time. It’s a bit like the one in downtown, it is in an old bank (but nice), the decor is similar (it’s the same presonne did to the other) and the food menu is the same, but with some extra., but that is all. Now the differences. Beers (which I drank so far are good) are not copies of the other brewpub, they are unique to Verdun. So if you think that going to one of the two places will make no difference, no! The place is a little smaller, but there is a mesanine for nearly 20 people. There is also a beautiful terrace at the back, with a tree in the middle and an open fire pit. The customer is special because it is a establishment for drinking beer, since there was nothing like this in Verdun in over a 100 years and if you wanted to drink at a bar, you have to get out of town. So people coming in are more likely to eat here then just drink. In all, this a very nice addition to de Montreal beer scene!
